    Assistant General Manager – SoHo About the role Guizio is hiring a full-time Assistant General Manager for our SoHo store. You will partner with the General Manager to run the store day to day: driving sales, leading and developing the team, and delivering an elevated client experience that reflects the brand. You will step in as the senior leader on the floor when the GM is out, and own key areas of operations, visual standards and clienteling. • Location: SoHo, New York, NY (on-site), • Schedule: Full-time, including weekends, holidays and some evenings, • Reports to: General Manager Key responsibilities Sales and client experience • Drive the store toward daily, weekly and monthly sales targets; track KPIs such as conversion, average transaction value and units per transaction, • Model and coach a high-touch selling approach on the floor, • Build and grow a client book through clienteling, appointments, follow-ups and personal styling, • Resolve escalated client issues, returns and exchanges with care and good judgment Team leadership • Lead the team on the floor, run morning huddles and set daily goals, • Recruit, onboard and train sales associates with the GM, • Give regular feedback, support performance reviews and develop future leaders, • Build weekly schedules that match coverage to traffic and stay within payroll budget Operations • Open and close the store, including cash handling, POS reconciliation and security procedures, • Oversee receiving, stock replenishment, transfers and inventory counts; keep shrink low, • Maintain stockroom organization and accurate inventory in our systems, • Support omnichannel services such as ship-from-store, online order pickup and returns, • Uphold company policies, loss prevention practices and health and safety standards Visual and brand standards • Execute visual merchandising directives and floor sets on schedule, • Keep the store, fitting rooms and windows looking polished and on-brand at all times, • Share product feedback and client insights with the GM and home office Store leadership • Act as manager on duty and lead the store when the GM is out, • Represent the store at in-store events, launches and community partnerships Qualifications • 3+ years of retail experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role, ideally in fashion, luxury or contemporary apparel, • Proven track record of meeting or beating sales goals, • Experience hiring, training and coaching a sales team, • Strong clienteling skills and a genuine passion for fashion and service, • Working knowledge of store operations: POS systems (e.g., Shopify POS), inventory management, cash handling and scheduling, • Clear communicator who stays calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment, • Comfortable with retail metrics and using data to guide decisions, • Open availability, including weekends, holidays and evenings, • Able to stand for long periods, climb ladders and lift up to 30 lbs What we offer • Compensation: $75,000 per year, plus a 20% bonus after one year of employment, • Health, dental and vision insurance, • Paid time off and paid sick leave, • Generous employee discount, • Commuter benefits, • Growth and development opportunities with a fast-growing New York brand Guizio is an equal opportunity employer.     We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Licensed Site Safety Manager/Coordinator to oversee construction site safety compliance and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. This role is vital in maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient construction environment by implementing safety protocols, managing risk, and coordinating safety training. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of NYC construction safety regulations. SITE SAFETY MANAGER/COORDINATOR | NEW YORK CITY As a Premier Safety NYC Site Safety Manager, you will serve as an essential part of the project team. You will oversee day-to-day safety conditions, monitor ongoing construction operations, identify and address hazards, maintain required documentation, and help ensure that work is performed in accordance with applicable NYC Department of Buildings, OSHA, Site Safety Plan, and Building Code requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Perform routine and daily safety inspections throughout the job site Monitor active construction and demolition operations Identify hazardous conditions and communicate corrective actions Verify that required safety procedures and controls are being followed Maintain accurate site safety records, logs, reports, and documentation Conduct or participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and worker safety communications Monitor high-risk operations and changing site conditions Review safety conditions and recommend practical corrective measures Follow up on outstanding hazards until corrective actions are addressed Document and assist with the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses Work closely with superintendents, project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and trades Coordinate with NYC DOB representatives and other regulatory personnel when necessary Support implementation and compliance with approved Site Safety Plans Monitor operations involving scaffolding, hoisting, rigging, concrete, demolition, fall protection, and other high-risk activities Help maintain a safe and organized work environment for everyone on site Promote a proactive safety culture rather than simply reacting to violations or incidents QUALIFICATIONS WHAT YOU BRING TO PREMIER SAFETY NYC REQUIRED Current NYC DOB Site Safety Manager/Coordinator license in good standing Working knowledge of NYC construction safety requirements OSHA construction safety knowledge and applicable training Previous experience on active NYC construction and/or demolition sites Strong hazard-recognition and problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate safety requirements clearly and professionally Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain organized and accurate safety documentation Professional approach when working with contractors, subcontractors, workers, management, and regulatory personnel Ability to travel between NYC project locations as required Ability to work independently while remaining an effective member of the project safety team Responsibilities Monitor comprehensive site safety plans in accordance with NYC DOB regulations and OSHA standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across construction sites to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related issues, ensuring timely communication with project teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Coordinate safety training sessions for site personnel, including OSHA compliance, NFPA standards, electrical safety procedures, and first aid/CPR certification. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation. Lead accident investigations when incidents occur, analyze root causes, and recommend preventative measures to mitigate future risks. Ensure all construction activities comply with ANSI standards, NEC codes, occupational health guidelines, and construction workplace safety regulations. Skills Extensive knowledge of NYC DOB construction safety requirements and regulatory compliance standards. Proven experience in risk management, occupational health, and construction workplace safety management. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, ANSI standards, and electrical safety procedures. Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes. Demonstrated leadership in team management and safety training implementation on active construction sites. Ability to perform thorough hazard assessments and develop effective risk mitigation strategies. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and ensure clear dissemination of safety protocols.
