Job Description Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Support • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility., • Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation., • Support patient mobility by helping with ambulation, turning, repositioning, and transferring using safe techniques., • Respond to patient call lights promptly and ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner., • Assist nurses with basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, blood glucose checks, intake/output documentation, and simple wound care support., • Set up equipment and supplies for procedures as directed., • Follow infection control standards, including hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)., • Ensure patient safety through fall-prevention measures and proper use of restraints per policy., • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team., • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families during care., • Collaborate with nurses and other staff to ensure coordinated patient care. You will provide basic nursing care and perform job duties like monitoring vital signs, patient observation, reporting, and providing patient support. CNA's can also be called nursing aides or nursing assistants. Your main duties include: • Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility, • Preparing each patient’s room with necessary items such as blankets, pillows, medical equipment and toiletries, • Helping patients eat and take medications, • Making sure patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages, • Monitoring vitals and behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff, • Transferring patients with low mobility from wheelchair to bed and vice versa, • Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores, • Collecting samples for laboratory tests, • Educating patients and families on health conditions, medications, and preventive measures, • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals, • Reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or physician, • Maintaining patient records and confidentiality To be eligible for this position, you must have the following qualifications: • A valid CNA license in the state of employment, • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are interested in joining our team, please apply to this job
