Job Description Job Title: Clinical Program Supervisor Reports to: Executive Director Location: On-site. Greeley, CO Position Type/Expected Hours: Part-time Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week, including 4–5 hours on Mondays and Fridays. Additional hours may be scheduled on other weekdays between 9AM and 5PM with flexibility. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required for events. About Community Grief Center: Our mission: The Community Grief Center provides compassionate, no-cost support to individuals, families, and older adults, helping them heal as they navigate their grief journey before and after a loss, and educating the community on the profound effects of grief. About the Position: The Clinical Program Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting interns and managing the Center’s grief-informed programs through both clinical supervision and program leadership. The role will initially combine Program Director coverage during a 12-week leave with Clinical Supervisor duties as part of a two-person team. Following the Program Director’s return and the Clinical Supervisor’s retirement in May 2026, the position becomes the permanent Clinical Supervisor role. Key responsibilities include supervising interns to ensure high-quality clinical care, coordinating and evaluating event logistics and programs, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. This position demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively. The Clinical Program Supervisor will work with clinical and operational management staff to provide clinical and administrative leadership. Supervisory Responsibilities: Clinical Supervisor of Interns Duties and Responsibilities: Supervision • Provide on-site individual and group clinical supervision, guidance, training, technical assistance, and coaching to assigned, unlicensed clinicians and interns, ensuring compliance with state and educational requirements. Conduct weekly supervision sessions tailored to interns’ needs, including consultation on complex cases, crises, and high-risk situations., • Collaborate with staff and interns’ school supervisors to coordinate service delivery and ensure educational compliance, clearly communicating requirements and guidelines., • Review client documentation, including SOAP notes, submitted by supervisees as part of ongoing quality assurance and clinical oversight., • Occasionally provide direct client counseling, primarily supporting cases when interns are unavailable or require additional assistance. Program Direction • Design, implement, evaluate, and update grief support programs and curriculum to ensure effectiveness, relevance, and alignment with organizational goals., • Manage client companioning and individual care, facilitation programs, coordinating with interns and facilitators to ensure quality support., • Lead, train, and coordinate recruitment, scheduling, and development of facilitators, interns, and volunteers to maintain a skilled and engaged team., • Track, report client data and program outcomes, and represent the organization at educational events and community partnerships, coordinating education initiatives. Develop outreach presentations. Education and Experience: • Colorado Clinical Mental Health License, LCSW, or LPC required., • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field from an accredited College or University., • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to clearly convey concepts to interns, colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, ethical conduct, confidentiality, integrity, and sound judgment., • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing priorities under deadlines with strong problem-solving, initiative, and a solutions-focused, results-driven mindset., • Collaborative and adaptable team player who works well independently and in diverse groups, including interns, clients, volunteers, colleagues, and external partners, fostering inclusive and visionary approaches to achieving organizational goals., • Proficient in Microsoft Office and cloud-based therapy practice management software, knowledgeable of relevant laws and guidelines, and quick to learn new information. What We Offer: Hours: 20-25 hours per week Pay range of $40 - $42/hour based on education and relevant years of experience Paid Time Off: Part-time employees receive prorated paid time off. Health Insurance: Part-time employees currently receive a monthly health stipend to help offset individual insurance costs. The organization is exploring options to offer group medical insurance coverage in the future.
