Salary $65,000-$70,000 depending on experience Monday- Friday 9:00am -5:00pm FLEXIBILITY IS A + Position Overview: The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator is a growth-focused, relationship-driven role responsible for increasing referrals and supporting census growth across Bridgeway’s programs in Central and Northern New Jersey. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position serves as a key connector between referral sources, Bridgeway’s Central Access Line, and clinical programs. This role requires a proactive, creative professional who brings new ideas for outreach, builds strong community relationships, and helps implement effective systems for tracking and managing referrals. This is a field-based position with office space available, requiring regular travel throughout Central and Northern New Jersey, with occasional evenings and weekends for community events. Other Skills/Abilities Referral Growth & Census Development • Drive referral growth across assigned territory with a clear focus on increasing appropriate admissions and supporting Bridgeway’s program census goals., • Expand Bridgeway’s referral network by cultivating relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, psychiatric services, primary care providers, behavioral health organizations, social service agencies, schools, and community partners., • Maintain consistent outreach to active and prospective referral sources to ensure Bridgeway remains a trusted, top-of-mind provider. Community Outreach & Creative Engagement • Represent Bridgeway at community meetings, coalitions, health fairs, and professional networking events., • Plan and support outreach events, office tours, informational sessions, and educational meetings for referral partners and community stakeholders., • Bring creative ideas and new approaches to outreach, engagement, and referral development aligned with Bridgeway’s mission and growth goals. Collaboration with Central Access & Clinical Teams • Work closely with Bridgeway’s Central Access Line to support smooth referral workflows, timely follow-up, and positive referral experiences., • Serve as a liaison between referral sources and internal teams to help address access questions and improve referral pathways., • Collaborate with clinical leadership, admissions, and marketing to ensure referral messaging and processes are clear, accurate, and consistent. Referral Tracking, Data & Systems Management • Maintain accurate referral and outreach records., • Implement, refine, and manage tools for tracking referral activity, referral sources, and outcomes., • Monitor referral trends and provide insights to leadership to inform outreach strategy and census growth initiatives. Leadership Visibility & Speaker Engagement • Develop, implement, and manage a Bridgeway Speaker’s Bureau, including maintaining a roster of approved speakers, topics, and presentation formats., • Identify and pursue speaking, panel, and educational presentation opportunities for Bridgeway leadership and subject-matter experts with external organizations., • Track speaking engagements and related outcomes to support outreach, referral development, and brand visibility., • Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to plan and support online webinars and virtual educational events that engage new audiences, increase awareness of Bridgeway’s services, and support referral and census growth. Brand Representation & Growth Support • Enhance Bridgeway’s visibility and reputation through consistent, professional representation in the community., • Identify new referral opportunities, emerging community needs, and potential partnerships., • Uphold Bridgeway’s mission, values, policies, and compliance standards in all interactions. Success in this role will be measured by: • Growth in referral volume across Central and Northern New Jersey., • Increase in qualified referrals converting to admissions., • Contribution to improved and sustained program census levels., • Expansion and diversification of active referral sources., • Accuracy and consistency of referral tracking and reporting., • Number and quality of speaking engagements and webinars secured., • Engagement outcomes from outreach events, webinars, and presentations., • Positive feedback from referral partners, Central Access, and clinical teams. Requirements Education/Certifications: • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in outreach, referral coordination, business development, healthcare, behavioral health, or social services., • Familiarity with healthcare or behavioral health systems and community-based services., • Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills., • Creative, self-directed professional comfortable working independently in the field., • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle is required.
