    Job Summary Our warehouse located in EDISON NJ 08837, We are seeking an experienced dedicated CDL A driver who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and ensuring safety on every route. This role offers the opportunity to operate a truck, including tractor-trailers,As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight across designated routes, load and unload cargo efficiently, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations. Your expertise in auto transmission driving and familiarity with diverse freight types will help us meet our commitment to timely deliveries and customer satisfaction. $1280-$2500 a week Duties • Safely operate tractor-trailers., • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues., • Drive in adherence to all federal, state, and local transportation laws, including regulations related to commercial driving and hours of service., • Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism., • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or any incidents encountered during transit., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Qualifications • Has a least 2 years valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating auto transmission trucks preferred., • Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery—experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks is highly desirable., • Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment when necessary., • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers., • Ability to operate various vehicle types including tractor-trailer, • Strong route planning skills with a focus on efficiency and safety during long-haul or local deliveries., • Physical ability to handle freight loads and perform vehicle inspections as required.
