The purpose of this position is to create and pour impressions, mount, articulate, and trim models, and ensure orders are constructed for preparation of final restorations per doctor instructions. Essential Functions • Pour, trim, section and articulate stone models from a patient’s impressions, • Read prescription included with case; assist in construction of prostheses by following doctors’ written instructions, • Utilize and conserve supplies and equipment by completing plaster casting, metal casting, die trimming, metal polishing, wax modeling, wire bending, sandblasting, electroplating, electro-spot welding and CAD/CAM techniques, • Safely use different kinds of hand tools and equipment (electric drills, presses, lathes, high-heat furnaces, sandblasters, paint brushes, grinders, carvers, etc.), • Prepare equipment and materials (fill mixing bins, empty equipment receptacles, etc.)., • Work closely with quality control specialists to address all issues regarding quality standards, • Communicate with colleagues and managers in a prompt articulate manner, • Rely on technical knowledge to make decisions and accomplish departmental goals, • Recognize and report problem cases or cases that need additional prep work, • Follow daily schedule, production goals, and protocols Benefits Jason J.
