How You'll Contribute: The installation technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of installation duties on technology projects for our clients. This position is the key field position for the bulk of the actual work that gets done in our clients buildings. Key Responsibilities • Provide start-up and dedicated end-to-end support for on-site, hybrid, virtual, and webcasting events, including high-visibility meetings for C-Suite and senior leadership., • Support end users in the operation of AV systems and collaboration technologies, including direct assistance and training as needed., • Create, schedule, and manage webcasting/live broadcast events, • Coordinate with internal teams, service providers, and webcasting vendors to gather requirements, align resources, troubleshoot issues, escalate as needed, and ensure services operate within SLA expectations., • Perform regular conference room checks, certifications, and preventative maintenance to established standards, including basic troubleshooting and fault isolation, break fix, software updates, and component replacement and reinstallation tasks (for example: projector lamps and filter cleaning)., • Complete administrative and operational tasks including service ticketing, request and incident updates, maintenance tracking, and documentation in accordance with SOPs and customer safety and procedural guidelines., • Proven experience as an AV Technician or similar role supporting enterprise meeting environments. Strong understanding of AV fundamentals: signal flow, conferencing audio best practices, camera framing, lighting basics, and troubleshooting methodology., • Demonstrated experience providing direct support for C-Suite and executive stakeholders (high-visibility, time-sensitive meetings)., • Strong working knowledge of industry collaboration tools (for example: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex) including meeting scheduling, configuration, and live support., • Excellent customer service, communication, and professionalism; able to interact confidently with senior leadership and their support teams., • Experience supporting Cisco and Lenovo Microsoft Teams Rooms and Cisco Webex hardware and technology, • Experience supporting Collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Global Meet, Teams Live Event, Polling/Survey Technology, • 3+ Years Experience supporting executive/C-Suite Level associates, • Experienced with fully integrated AV environments, advanced control platforms, and corporate conference room technology standards, • Proven success supporting off‑site events with portable AV systems, including onsite setup, operation, and high‑quality audio/video capture, • ServiceNow ticketing experience and comfort working within SLAs., • Travel may be required up to 20 percent per month (varies by business needs; not always required)., • Executive meetings start on time with reliable audio, video, and content sharing., • Stakeholders experience proactive communication, polished execution, and fast issue resolution., • Meeting spaces remain consistently ready through preventative checks and strong operational discipline., • Maintaining adherence to SOPs to ensure consistent workflow and high-quality service. JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible to lead one or more construction projects and for the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. The Superintendent is responsible for directing and mentoring subcontractors and other on-site field staff. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as have strong communication and team building skills. WORK HOURS: Weekdays 7 am to 5 pm; Saturdays 7 am- 1pm, as required. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assure the required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies are secured, posted, and renewed as required prior to starting work., • Develop, update, modify (as required) and maintain the project schedule including a master schedule, 60-day look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and two-week look ahead schedules for their assigned trades., • Understand and be familiar with the date by which all materials must arrive on the job and convey that information to the project management team for preparation of the contract items lists and shop drawing schedules., • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors, and inspectors to complete each project on time., • Communicate with and support each subcontractor to execute their job duties effectively and efficiently., • Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control standards are met at various stages of the project., • Perform inspections or schedule inspectors to meet the varying safety and compliance regulations of each job location., • Prepare the daily construction reports in a thorough and timely manner and maintain a written daily log of visitors, job actions performed, materials expended, and problems resolved on the job site., • Assure daily job progress photographs are taken in ample quantity to accurately depict the progress of the work., • Travel between multiple job sites and simultaneously manage work loads of individual projects, • Understand and ensure risk controls are properly established and maintained., • Understand and uphold the site safety plan., • Understand and uphold the site logistics plan., • Assure the implementation and continuous maintenance of corporate safety program requirements in all of the day-to-day operations on the project., • Prepare and attend the weekly subcontractor meetings. Assist in maintaining the minutes of these meetings, and ensure they are recorded and distributed., • Prepare and manage weekly safety meetings, regular toolbox talks, and safety pre task meetings as required., • Attend weekly meetings with the project team for purposes of updates on the status of the field work and communication of any issues requiring the input or action of others on the project team, and for notification to the project team of issues that may be of importance or interest to them., • Establish and maintain a system of document control to assure work is being installed in accordance with the latest design documentation and approved shop drawings., • Communicate any issues requiring additional information from designers and consultants in a timely fashion to the project manager for issuance of RFI’s., • Assist in preparation of the monthly status report to be submitted to the lender. REQUIREMENTS: • Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent years of related experience., • Requires 10+ years of experience in Stick-frame Multi-Family Residential Construction. Previous Sitework and Structured Garage Construction experience is preferred., • Requires working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required., • Requires superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential both within the internal project team and externally with subcontractors, labor force, etc., • Requires the ability to work with and have knowledge of the shop drawing submittal process., • Requires the ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications and able to comprehend and recognize safety standards and issues., • Requires the ability to determine the priority of assignments based on critical deadlines., • Requires the ability to resolves field-initiated questions., • Requires understanding of construction contracts, retention, releases., • Requires the ability to interact with all levels of personnel and customers., • Must possess strengths in verbal and written communications; ability to adapt communications/presentations and deliver clear and concise reports and analysis to senior management., • Requires ability to meet deadlines and work in a structured corporate environment., • Requires the ability to be self-motivated and work independently with minimal supervision.
