Director of National Accounts - National Service Sales Representative Reporting to the Vice President of Sales – Service, the National Service Sales Representative is responsible for driving new national account growth and expanding GenServe’s presence with multi-site and enterprise customers across the United States. This role focuses on identifying and securing new national clients, selling comprehensive service agreements, UPS maintenance programs, and system integration upgrades, while partnering closely with the equipment sales team to deliver complete power solutions to national accounts. This position requires a strategic, consultative sales approach, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-location customer organizations. The National Service Sales Representative serves as a trusted advisor to national clients, aligning GenServe’s technical capabilities with customer operational, reliability, and compliance needs. The mission of this role is to grow national revenue, expand long-term service relationships, and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all client locations while achieving individual and company sales objectives. Responsibilities 1. National Sales & Business Development • Identify, target, and secure new national and multi-site clients through research, networking, industry outreach, and prospecting, • Develop and execute strategic account plans for national customers, • Sell national service agreements, including generator maintenance, ATS inspections, load bank testing, remote monitoring, and related services, • Drive sales of UPS maintenance programs, system integration upgrades, and lifecycle service solutions, • Partner with the equipment sales team to identify opportunities and support the sale of generators, UPS systems, and related equipment to national accounts, • Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and technical stakeholders, • Develop customized, competitive proposals aligned with national customer needs and operational requirements, • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service scopes, and successfully close new national agreements, • Manage and grow long-term relationships with national accounts to drive renewals, upsells, and cross-selling opportunities, • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine national sales strategies, • Proactively resolve customer issues and escalations to ensure high satisfaction and retention 2. Account Management, Reporting & Compliance • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline activity within CRM systems, • Track and report national sales performance against targets and forecasts, • Manage travel and business expenses in accordance with company policies, • Ensure compliance with company standards, contract requirements, and applicable industry regulations 3. Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with internal teams, including service operations, engineering, equipment sales, and marketing to deliver seamless national account support, • Participate in national sales strategy discussions and contribute insights based on customer and market feedback, • Act as a liaison between national customers and internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery across all locations 4. Product & Industry Knowledge • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of GenServe’s service offerings, UPS maintenance programs, system integration capabilities, and equipment solutions, • Stay current on industry trends, codes, standards, and emerging technologies impacting power generation and critical power systems, • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and work experience, • Prior experience in national or enterprise sales, preferably within power generation, UPS systems, critical power, or related industries, • Proven success selling service agreements or complex technical solutions, • Experience working with multi-location or national accounts, • 2+ years of experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, • Salesloft experience preferred, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, • Strategic prospecting and national account development, • Consultative and solution-based selling, • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, • Persistence and resilience in a competitive national sales environment, • Effective use of CRM and sales tools, • Adaptability to changing market conditions, • Professional presence and executive-level communicationRequirements:
