Job Responsibilities: • Accurately utilizes the PACS (Picture Archival System) to make images available to the radiologist for interpretation with minimum number of exceptions., • Enters proper exam coding in the Radiology Information System and arrives and completes exams in a timely fashion., • Assists in the care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and supplies. Reports any equipment problems or malfunctions to the supervisor in a timely fashion., • Instructs and supervises radiography students in clinical practicum. Works with the radiography student to perform exams as well as performing individual image evaluation., • Performs other duties as assigned, • Operates MRI equipment to take diagnostic images of specific body areas/parts as ordered. Produces diagnostic images for interpretation by the radiologist., • Prepares and positions/or immobilizes patients properly and provides clear and concise instructions regarding the procedure before beginning an exam.
