Key Food Supermarkets is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our deli department. As Deli Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations, ensuring high-quality products, excellent customer service, and efficient management of staff and inventory. This role is crucial in maintaining our fresh foods reputation and contributing to the store's success. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all daily operations of the deli department, ensuring smooth and efficient service., • Lead, train, mentor, and schedule deli staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment., • Ensure the preparation and presentation of a wide range of deli items, including sliced meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, meet our quality standards., • Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize freshness and profitability., • Maintain impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the deli counter, equipment, and work area, strictly adhering to food safety standards., • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction., • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales., • Analyze sales performance and manage department budgets to achieve financial targets., • Collaborate effectively with other department managers and store leadership to ensure overall store success. Qualifications: • Proven experience in deli operations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role within a retail or food service environment., • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills., • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices., • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail setting., • Basic mathematical skills for inventory, pricing, and budget management., • A passion for fresh food and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
