Whoever takes this role will help shape how the world learn about it: the demos, the talks, the reference implementations, while the thing is still being figured out. This is a generalist role by design. You'll write Python, appear on camera, review docs PRs, and file the bug you just hit, often in the same day. Time zones: Anywhere in the continental US. We're remote-first. Expect travel for events and a few days a quarter in our recording studio. We have a slight preference for candidates near New York or the Bay Area, but it isn't a requirement. In your first year you will: Ship reference implementations developers copy. The bar is that someone builds on your code in production, not that it demos well. Teach people about agentic workflows. This person must be highly organized, detail?oriented, and comfortable acting as the primary point of contact for lenders, brokers, joint?venture partners, and investors. Success in the role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to move quickly through assignments to ensure deadlines and closings are met in a dynamic environment. The candidate will report directly to Adam Gordon, Managing Partner, and work closely with the partners and broader Wildflower team. Portfolio & Asset Management: • Own the ongoing performance of the operating and development portfolio relative to underwriting, business plans, and budget, and proactively flag variances and opportunities to the partners, • Maintain all asset?level and portfolio financial models and valuations; update models as new draw schedules, capital calls, and spend occur, and revise budgets and timing accordingly, • Maintain the firm?wide promote and return schedule based on the latest models and business plans, • Monitor lease expirations, extension options, and loan maturities across the portfolio, and manage the calendar of upcoming milestones so nothing falls through the cracks, • Prepare and maintain recurring performance reporting on the financial and operational health of each asset and the portfolio as a whole Leasing: • Coordinate leasing activity across the portfolio with internal teams and third?party brokers, and run recurring leasing calls with brokers and JV partners, • Drive lease?up of available space manage LOIs, lease negotiations, and documentation through execution, and track pipeline tenants to close, • Manage tenant matters including estoppels, SNDAs, rent commencement notices, operating?expense allocations, billing set?up, and service?contract tracking, • Handle tenant issues, buyouts, and lease restructurings, coordinating with brokers and counsel on strategy Financings & Refinancings: • Lead loan and refinancing processes end to end from lender selection and application through diligence, documentation, and closing, • Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders and debt advisors; keep lenders and JV partners closely informed at every step of each transaction, • Manage financing execution items including interest?rate cap purchases, loan payoffs, loan extensions, subline transfers, and closing checklists, • Oversee preparation and review of loan and joint?venture documentation, and coordinate closings of new and existing financings Dispositions: • Support and manage property disposition processes across the portfolio, coordinating with sales brokers and advisors, • Run data rooms and manage buyer diligence including tenant documentation, estoppels, lease schedules, and service contracts through PSA execution and closing, • Coordinate lender payoffs and other closing requirements, and keep the partners and JV stakeholders updated on process and pricing Investor Relations: • Serve as the day?to?day point person for investor communications across the portfolio, with particular attention to assets that have active or crowd?funded investor bases, • Prepare investment summaries and detailed talking points for investor calls, pulling position?level data from Juniper Square, • Provide timely, accurate updates to investors on active deals, financings, and sales Cash Management & Corporate Liquidity: • Monitor upcoming funding requirements and major cash needs across the portfolio and at the corporate level, • Model cash projections and coordinate capital calls where required, working ahead of closings and construction spend Capital Raise Support: • Support the firm's capital raise by owning diligence responses related to the seed / in?place assets, and coordinate closely with placement agents and the acquisitions team as investors work through their diligence, • Prepare supporting schedules, asset data, and DDQ responses on the operating portfolio for prospective institutional investors Risk Management: • Identify and evaluate financial and operational risks across the portfolio and propose appropriate mitigation strategies, • Monitor market trends, interest rates, and competitive factors that could affect asset performance, financings, and valuations, • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration Requirements: • Degree in finance, accounting, real estate, or a related field, • Minimum of 57 years of real estate asset management, investment, or capital?markets experience, ideally within the real estate development or private equity industry, • In?depth knowledge of real estate finance, including property valuation, project financing, complex financial structures, promote / waterfall structures, and financial modeling, • Detailed knowledge of CRE underwriting and cash?flow forecasting, with a solid understanding of leverage, property operations (financial statements, cash flow, and rent rolls), and third?party reports, • Hands?on experience managing financings, refinancings, and dispositions, including coordinating lenders, brokers, JV partners, and counsel through closing, • Experience with investor relations and reporting; familiarity with Juniper Square or comparable platforms a plus, • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, • Detail?oriented, organized, proactive, and a strong team player with a demonstrable passion for driving results to closure, • Commitment to ethics and integrity, with a collaborative and flexible working style suited to a fast?paced, entrepreneurial environment The candidate will report directly to Adam Gordon, Managing Partner.
