Job Description Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Woodbridge, NJ (On-site) Pay: $25/hr+ Job Description The Bookkeeper is responsible for processing invoices received for payment and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and suppliers. This role requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal departments and external vendors. Responsibilities • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries., • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and vendor accounts on a regular basis., • Process invoices, expense reports, and payments in a timely and organized manner., • Prepare weekly, biweekly, and monthly financial reports as needed., • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes., • Support budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial forecasting tasks., • Prepare and review certified payroll reports to ensure compliance with prevailing wage and labor requirements., • Verify employee hours, classifications, and wage rates for accuracy., • Submit certified payroll documentation to the appropriate agencies or project authorities by required deadlines., • Experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, and purchase orders, • Experience in the construction industry, • 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, • Working experience in the construction industry, • Exposure to a strong organization, • Flexible compensation Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
