Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Western Nassau to fill a Collections/Accounts Receivable opportunity. This is a temp to hire position and will pay $28-$32 hourly. It is onsite Monday with a change in schedule once or twice a month. Responsibilities: · Contact clients to collect payments due, following established credit limits and payment terms for each client (extensive number of calls per day) · Collect amounts due on a B2B basis · Review and post receipts to GL · Conduct research with credit agencies to determine credit worthiness of clients · Answering general accounting inquiries · Summarize updated collections status on a bi-weekly basis · Other duties as assigned Candidate Requirements · Record of job stability · 3+ years of related accounts receivable experience as a team lead or supervisor -- Business-to-Business preferable · Capable of working independently · Highly organized and efficient · Ability to listen well and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing · Proficiency with Excel with a strong attention to detail · Ability to multitask, prioritize work and follow through to successful completion · Friendly and excellent interpersonal skills Please apply for immediate consideration. Job Description Location: Lake Success, NY (On-site) Schedule: Full-time Role: Accounting Supervisor / Senior Accountant We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor or Senior Accountant to join a well-established team in Lake Success. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general ledger accounting, SEC reporting, and team oversight. You’ll play a key role in monthly close processes, financial reporting, and mentoring junior staff. What You’ll Do: * Supervise day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations. * Prepare and review monthly financial statements, consolidations, and supporting schedules. * Oversee foreign and domestic entity reporting, including intercompany eliminations. * Coordinate with external auditors and support tax preparation efforts. * Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP. * Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, reviewing their work and providing feedback. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Support ad hoc financial projects and executive reporting. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. * 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities. * Must have experience preparing or reviewing 10-Q and 10-K filings for a publicly traded company. * Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. * Real estate industry experience is a plus. * Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Dynamics, F9 Reporting). * Excellent organizational and communication skills.
