Job DescriptionRole Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Financial Operations to lead and evolve our global finance operations team, consisting of approximately 120 professionals across the U.S. and offshore locations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, leading high-performing global teams, and delivering a seamless financial experience to our clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a track record of scaling operations, strengthening financial controls, and leading global, distributed teams in fast-paced environments. As VP, you will ensure accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across our invoicing, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This leader will partner closely with Finance, IT, Product, and Client Delivery teams, playing a key role in enhancing both internal processes and the client-facing e-invoicing platform. Key Responsibilities * Lead and Inspire a Global Team: Provide strategic leadership and daily oversight for a global team of ~120 employees, including direct oversight of U.S.-based leaders and an offshore finance operations center in Hyderabad, India. * Drive Global Operational Excellence: Ensure scalable, standardized, and efficient processes across all finance operations activities—including invoice generation, client reconciliation, and reporting. * Client-Centric Finance Leadership: Represent finance in quarterly business reviews with over 50 integrated clients, delivering high-impact insights, promoting transparency, and reinforcing financial integrity. * Enhance Platform and Process Efficiency: Partner with Product and IT to continuously evolve our e-invoice platform, advocating for automation, client-driven improvements, and compliance standards. * Financial Governance & Controls: Collaborate with Finance and internal control leaders to implement, monitor, and enhance robust controls over general ledger, payment, and reconciliation processes. * Support Strategic Client Onboarding: Act as a senior finance stakeholder in new client onboarding processes, ensuring readiness and integration into core financial systems and workflows. * Build Talent and Foster Culture: Mentor and develop global team leaders, promote a high-performance culture, and ensure alignment of offshore operations with overall business goals. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. * 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance operations, controllership, or global shared services. * Demonstrated success leading and scaling large global teams, including offshore operations in India or other international locations. * Strong understanding of invoicing, financial reconciliations, internal controls, and cross-border financial workflows. * Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, including Product, Technology, and Client Services. * Experience working in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel/data analysis skills. Preferred Skills & Experience * CPA or MBA strongly preferred. * Background in accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, or corporate accounting * Expertise in driving automation, process transformation, or digital finance operations. * Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
