Job DescriptionJob Title: TechnologistJob Description As a Technologist, you will be responsible for managing communication via a multi-line phone system, including answering and directing calls, taking detailed messages, and forwarding calls to the appropriate practitioner, voicemail, or pager. You will also be responsible for handling incoming mail, preparing routine correspondence, and performing general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing. Additionally, you will support physicians by following instructions for imaging procedures, explaining these processes to patients, and ensuring proper equipment use and safety protocols. Responsibilities • Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system., • Take and forward detailed messages to appropriate practitioners., • Clear and deliver messages each morning., • Assist and escort patients to the correct area., • Handle incoming mail and prepare routine correspondence., • Perform general clerical tasks, including filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing., • Maintain an organized reception area., • Support physicians with imaging procedures and explain processes to patients., • Adjust imaging equipment and ensure safety protocols are followed., • Minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff., • Maintain radiology supply inventory and place orders when necessary., • Handle confidential information with professionalism., • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.Essential Skills, • Certification in ARRT., • Ideally 2 years of experience with imaging., • Experience with spine and orthopedic imaging.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience in handling high patient volumes.
