Requirements: Job Summary: The Manager of Enhanced Family Foster Care is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the EFFC program. Working with the Director, the Manager is to provide guidance and supervision to a team of staff including unit Supervisors. The Manager will ensure that programmatic and practice expectations are achieved. A key member of the EFFC leadership team, the Manager is integral to ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the children and families in Foster Care. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provides weekly coaching and supervision to assigned staff members including Case Planning unit Supervisors and support staff, • Ensures the timely entry of progress notes, FASPs, and court reports as well as ensures that the documentation meets the program’s standards for quality and frequency, • Oversees the coordination of the Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, • Ensures the participation of assigned staff in the A29i treatment planning process, • Provides supervisory coverage in the absence of a supervisor, • Actively ensures staff preparation for family court proceedings and that all open items are addressed prior to the hearing, • Proactively assesses and makes recommendations for goal changes, discharges, and expansion of visitation plans to expedite permanency, • Actively participates and/or lead program wide activities and meetings, • Encourages and models staff communication and teamwork with both internal and external stakeholders, • Monitors and supports the timely submission of rates and other payments, • Ensures staff preparedness and participation in Family Team Conferences, • Maintains and models a high degree of customer service, practicing from a lens of responsiveness, responsibility, and respect, • Ensures timely and transparent staff evaluations with a lens towards ongoing development, • Participates in all program improvement and performance discussions, • Communicate and document follow through of tasks to assigned staff, • Represents the agency at stakeholder driven meetings, • Provides Director level coverage as necessary Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Microsoft 365 proficiency and knowledge of Connections, • Team player with strong planning, organizational and follow up skills, • Ability to manage and supervise all staff., • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation, • Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems Qualifications/Requirements: • MSW required. LMSW or LCSW preferred, • 2-4 years foster care experience required with at least 2 years of supervisory experience, • Due to the nature of the work environment work hours will be based on needs of program and may vary., • Our Agency operates in 2 locations: Staten Island and Brooklyn.
