Job Description Client Services Lead SPS Global is seeking a dependable and hands-on Client Services Lead – Facilities Operations to support workplace maintenance, office moves, and day-to-day facilities coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operational problem-solving, takes pride in maintaining professional workspaces, and can work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, mechanically inclined, and service-oriented, with experience supporting office facilities, workplace maintenance, and general handyman responsibilities. Job Overview The Client Services Lead – Facilities Operations is responsible for performing a variety of workplace maintenance and facilities support tasks in accordance with company procedures and operational standards. This role supports office operations by maintaining clean, safe, and functional workspaces while assisting with office moves, furniture assembly, repairs coordination, and general facilities upkeep. The position requires strong follow-through, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Reports To: Facilities Lead, Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership What You'll DoFacilities & Maintenance Support • Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, water filters, and other facility components as needed, • Walk office floors regularly to identify and remove marks from walls, doors, and glass surfaces, • Clean spills and address water leaks promptly, • Maintain cleanliness of unassigned and common areas, • Monitor restrooms daily and report maintenance issues to leadershipOffice Moves & Furniture Support, • Assist with office moves, including packing office contents and moving furniture, • Unpack and assemble office furniture as needed, • Replace chairs and reorganize office spaces when required, • Hang pictures and support workspace setup requestsWarehouse, Freight & Disposal Support, • Remove and break down empty boxes from corridors and freight areas, • Consolidate debris and transport materials to dumpsters when appropriate, • Monitor freight areas to maintain cleanliness and organizationOperational & Team Support, • Report maintenance-related concerns to the Facilities Lead, • Follow through on open assignments and communicate task completion, • Support special projects and operational requests as needed, • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with clients and staff, • Maintain flexibility with schedules and workload demands, including overtime when necessaryWhat We're Looking ForRequired, • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to manage physical and operational tasks in a fast-paced office environment, • Flexibility with work schedules and workload demandsPreferred, • Minimum of 1 year of handyman, facilities, maintenance, or workplace support experience, • Familiarity with the operation of power tools, • Experience supporting office moves or facilities operationsCompetencies, • Strong problem-solving and operational support skills, • Dependable and proactive work ethic, • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments independently, • Team-oriented mindset with collaborative approach, • Attention to detail and workplace presentation standards, • Professional communication and customer service skillsPhysical Requirements, • Ability to walk throughout office floors, including use of staircases, • Ability to lift and move desks, file cabinets, furniture, and office fixtures, • Ability to push or pull loaded hand trucks or dumpsters, • Ability to bend, stretch, kneel, and reach supply or storage areas, • Ability to safely operate power tools and facilities equipment Travel: Travel may be required to support projects in the New Jersey office location What We Offer Career Growth: Opportunities to expand expertise across facilities, workplace operations, and client services functions.
