This is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Medical Assistant at our location in Greenvale, NY. The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting physicians with procedures, maintaining medical records, preparing and maintaining examination rooms, and managing medical office tasks. Additional responsibilities include obtaining patient histories, recording vital signs, and ensuring compliance with medical protocols. Qualifications Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including assisting physicians during examinations and procedures. Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and its application in a clinical setting. Experience in managing Medical Office tasks, ensuring efficiency and organization in day-to-day operations. Ability to deliver patient-centered care, including patient interaction and obtaining detailed patient histories. Familiarity with maintaining and organizing accurate Medical Records, ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) qualification is required. Prior experience in a gastroenterology setting is a plus.
