Through our “Save My Life Program”, we provide comprehensive, cardiopulmonary physical exams via our five clinic locations within the state. This program was designed exclusively for first responders, township/county/state employees, educators, and their families. Through yearly testing, we are able to diagnose non-symptomatic health issues before they become serious. ???? And now, we’re opening a BRAND NEW clinic in Woodbridge, New Jersey! ???? We are hiring immediately for a part-time position (3 days per week to start) with the opportunity to transition to full-time (40 hours/week) within approximately 6 months into employment as the clinic grows. Schedules are made monthly, with any 3 days between Monday–Saturday, and we are closed on Sundays. We’re looking for motivated, compassionate team members who want to grow with us and help shape a new clinic from day one. We’re excited to meet you! ey Responsibilities: * Serves patients by identifying the optimal method for retrieving blood samples and other specimens, preparing them for laboratory testing, and performing allergy testing as needed. * Verifies test requisitions by cross-referencing information with the clinic log, promptly notifying discrepancies to the manager. * Ensures accurate patient identification, explains blood draw procedures, and addresses patient queries to alleviate concerns. * Performs venipunctures to obtain blood specimens. * Maintains specimen integrity using aseptic techniques, adhering to clinic procedures, and observing isolation protocols. * Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting collection times, maintaining daily collection records. * Upholds a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by complying with standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. * Handles unusual test orders by contacting physicians, managers, or reference laboratories, referring unresolved orders for further clarification, and informing supervisors of outstanding issues. * Comforts nervous patients during sampling procedures and applies wound dressings post-blood draws. * Updates patient records accurately. * Maintains an organized and clean workspace. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Active CCMA or Phlebotomy Certification is required * Good interpersonal skills to interact with patients, explain procedures, and provide emotional support. * Precision in labeling and documenting samples to ensure accuracy and prevent errors. * Understanding and adherence to infection control and safety procedures to minimize risks of contamination or injury. Part Time 3 days a week with 3 - 4 Saturdays, eventually convert to Full Time.
