This travel temporary assignment requires adult and geriatric patient care on a telemetry unit with routine rhythm monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role includes weekend coverage and potential intra-hospital float as needed. Charting is performed in Epic. Key Highlights • Weekly pay: $2,047–$2,137 per week, • Guaranteed hours: 0.0 hours, • Contract duration: Weeks, • Shift: 3x12 Nights, • Start date: 04/27/2026, • Setting: Telemetry unit within a hospital system serving adult and geriatric patients Responsibilities • Provide skilled telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to telemetry alarms., • Interpret dysrhythmias accurately, initiate appropriate interventions, and notify the medical team as needed for changes in patient status., • Administer prescribed medications and therapies, coordinate care with PT, RT, Pharmacy, and other disciplines, and participate in rapid response as necessary., • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic, including vitals, rhythm strips, interventions, and patient education; communicate clearly with the care team and physicians., • Accept responsibility for weekend coverage and possible intra-hospital floating within defined skill sets; participate in daily rounds and care planning with the interdisciplinary team., • Adhere to unit policies for infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance; provide patient and family education as appropriate.
