Job DescriptionOverview Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel) for a 3x12 Night shift on a Telemetry unit within a hospital setting in Saratoga Springs, New York. Start date: 04/27/2026. This travel temporary assignment requires adult and geriatric patient care on a telemetry unit with routine rhythm monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration. The role includes weekend coverage and potential intra-hospital float as needed. Charting is performed in Epic. Key Highlights • Weekly pay: $2,047–$2,137 per week, • Guaranteed hours: 0.0 hours, • Contract duration: Weeks, • Shift: 3x12 Nights, • Start date: 04/27/2026, • Setting: Telemetry unit within a hospital system serving adult and geriatric patients Responsibilities • Provide skilled telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to telemetry alarms., • Interpret dysrhythmias accurately, initiate appropriate interventions, and notify the medical team as needed for changes in patient status., • Administer prescribed medications and therapies, coordinate care with PT, RT, Pharmacy, and other disciplines, and participate in rapid response as necessary., • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic, including vitals, rhythm strips, interventions, and patient education; communicate clearly with the care team and physicians., • Accept responsibility for weekend coverage and possible intra-hospital floating within defined skill sets; participate in daily rounds and care planning with the interdisciplinary team., • Adhere to unit policies for infection control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance; provide patient and family education as appropriate. Requirements • Licensure: New York RN license in hand required at time of submission; recent Nursys verification., • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS listed (include if applicable)., • Experience: Minimum 2 years telemetry nursing experience required; at least 1 year current experience with a telemetry patient population., • Clinical skills: Telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, care of telemetry patients; dialysis exposure noted., • Testing: Must pass facility proctored rhythm identification exam (facility requirement: >80% overall and 100% on critical rhythms). Relias EKG exam required after signing., • Charting: Epic experience required., • Vaccines: Flu vaccine or approved exemption required; COVID-19 vaccine not required per posting., • Scheduling/Compliance: Weekend coverage required; ability to float within hospital as needed; local radius compliance applies., • Local radius: Residency must be outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment location; listed counties (Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster) are considered for eligibility., • Additional: Must be able to read/interpret rhythms accurately and meet testing/training deadlines; submission requires NY license, current certifications, and references.
