Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Payroll Associate to work for a great company in the Farmingdale, NY area. This is a hybrid position after a few months of training. Must live commutable to the Farmingdale, NY area. The Payroll Associate will be responsible for processing weekly and biweekly payroll for US and Canada employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role involves coordinating with various departments, handling sensitive information, and assisting with monthly and quarterly reconciliations. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: * Process weekly and biweekly payroll for US and Canada employees, including uploading timesheets into JD Edwards. * Coordinate with local and field offices for timesheet approvals and edit corrections. * Audit and review new hires, terminations, employee changes, and tax set-ups to ensure accurate payroll processing. * Perform JDE calculations from gross to net payroll, create journal entries, and transmit wage payments and ACH bank files. * Set up union and rate information by reviewing Collective Bargaining Agreements and updating JDE tables as applicable.
