Department: HR-Administration Salary: $70,000- $75,000 Location: Union, NJ Work hours: Monday-Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm) – Full time- 40 hours’ weekly Position Overview: The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting, engagement, and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator will work collaboratively with all department VPs, Directors and Managers to ensure that the hiring process is in step with needs, policies, and regulations and that the recruitment of new staff is meeting expectations of the organization. Essential Job Functions o Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting and applicant engagement methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization o Ability to quickly engage candidates and bring enthusiasm to their hiring experience o Processes job requisitions and will use the HRIS/Applicant Tracking System whenever available at Bridgeway to enhance the recruitment process o Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s) o Collaborates with department Directors and Managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria o Screens applications for all open requisitions and selects qualified candidates to be forwarded to the department Directors/Managers. Screening also entails verbal/video communication with applicants. o Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials o Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders as necessary o Collaborates with the hiring Director/Manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details o Prepares and posts job postings internally and within the media approved for same such as Indeed/Glassdoor, etc., and works with the Director of Marketing for an integrated advertisement process o Manages the relationship with media platforms and involves HR Director in any contract negotiations o Maintains employee referral program, and will use the HRIS/Applicant Tracking System whenever available at Bridgeway to enhance the recruitment process o Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies to include NJAMHA, etc. o Works with area colleges and manages the intern process with support from the HR team o Coordinates appropriate employment testing, and employment verification and background checks with support as necessary from the HR Program Support and Recruitment Specialist o Extends verbal and written contingent job offers in conjunction with the HR Director and Department Director/Manager o Maintains strict confidentiality in reference to personnel files and personnel actions o Participates in orientation of new employees as assigned o Follows up with the related clerical aspects of employment, such as completing of health, employment and insurance forms, notifying the department of employee's starting date, etc. o Participates in HR staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars o Works cohesively with all HR department staff especially with duties overlap and/or require support from other HR positions i.e., the Program Support and Recruitment Specialist o Participates in new hire orientation training and other training as assigned o Attains hiring targets and outcomes as assigned o Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, benefits laws and regulations and company policies o Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritize and complete projects/tasks within timeline o Receives and responds to routine correspondence form internal and external sources, and collaborates with the HR Director when responding to non-routine correspondence o Attends and participates in college and business job fairs and recruiting sessions Data Management and Communication: o Assists in the collection and management of all department data/documents from various inputs be that paper or electronic documents, Excel spreadsheets, electronic data systems and other interfacing electronic platforms o Completion and maintenance of hiring documents and data relative to the hiring process o Receives, manages, and communicates information coming to the HR recruitment function from internal and external sources and distributes per the recruitment process o Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the HR department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed o Completes assigned reports on recruitment and employment activity within timelines Customer Service: o Provides positive customer service through all formats of interaction with potential employees, employer referral sources, and internal stakeholders (VPs, Directors, Managers) o Maintains confidentiality of HR conversations, records and all data collected Requirements: Education/Certifications: • Experience with Behavioral Health and Medical recruiting highly preferred., • Working knowledge of ADP WFN is highly preferred, • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required., • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred • Experience with Behavioral Health program positions specifically within Bridgeway highly preferred., • Knowledge of BH clinical programs job duties and team processes preferred, • Working knowledge of ADP WFN is highly preferred Driver’s License, Vehicle: • Valid driver’s license required, • No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months All employees are encouraged to participate on an agency committee, on a rotating basis. Mandatory trainings are to be completed during regularly scheduled working hours. It is the employee’s responsibility to attend mandatory trainings when they are offered by the agency and to complete mandatory web-based training in a timely manner. Employees failing to attend mandatory trainings are required to make up the training on their own time and at their own expense, i.e., CPR training.
