Job Description JOB DEFINITION: Provide administrative supervision to a dynamic team of residential staff providing housing and services to people with psychiatric disabilities. Responsible for the overall functioning of the programs and ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as applicable local, state and federal regulations. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in human services, Master's Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two years supervisory experience in a mental health related field. Knowledge of the needs of the Co-Occurring D/O population. Minimum of two years of experience in a residential program and familiarity with Office of Mental Health regulations strongly preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee and supervise all aspects of assigned residential programs and assure that appropriate and necessary services are delivered., • Ensure all program guidelines, protocols, policies, procedures and regulations are followed., • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing evaluation of residential staff under the supervision of the Asst. Director/ Director., • Provide ongoing structured weekly supervision to housing supervisors and ensures that all staff are receiving adequate training and supervision., • Review and approve all time off requests, time sheets and travel expenses for supervisors within 48 hours of submission., • Meet with the program supervisor and review the staff schedule on a bi-weekly basis. Pay: $85,000 - $90,000/year What You Will Do: • Coordinate and oversee medical, dental, nursing, and clinic services., • Monitor residents for signs of acute illness, complications, and exacerbations of chronic conditions., • Participate in clinical and staff meetings to provide valuable medical and nursing insights., • Conduct weekly on-site nursing visits, perform health assessments and review medical records (e.g., MARs, seizure charts, meal plans, vital signs)., • Make nursing recommendations and refer residents for medical treatment as needed., • Supervise nursing tasks and patient care (e.g., first aid, wound care, vital signs) to ensure staff competency., • Ensure safe medication administration, adhering to physician prescriptions and regulations. Note: Nurse is assigned to all four locations. Work Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday with flexible scheduling options. Includes on-call duties for telephone triage coverage.
