Job Description The Construction Project Manager is responsible for supporting and overseeing all aspects of design and construction projects at the High Line park and headquarters facility. Project types include new construction & renovation, capital repair and retrofit projects, and infrastructure-focused projects. The Construction Project Manager collaborates with internal departments - including Operations, Advancement, and Finance - and external partners such as NYC Parks and adjacent developers. Responsibilities • Serve as main project led on contracts or projects through all phases; projects may include small scale repair or renovation projects and larger capital projects across the High Line, • Manage projects by developing scopes of work; soliciting and reviewing bids from architects, engineers, contractors, and construction managers; preparing estimates, schedules and budgets; and overseeing project execution from design through construction and post-occupancy, • Coordinate between planning & design and park operations departments to ensure successful execution and oversight of projects, and confirm that all projects are on the institutional main calendar and internal resources are allocated and scheduled, • Create communication processes and documents to ensure that all affected stakeholders are aware of impact of projects on park, • Coordinate with external architects, landscape architects, and consultants to ensure projects are executed in alignment with the design intent, • Conduct weekly site visits to verify that construction work aligns with the Contract Documents, • Liaise with NYC Parks and other city agencies as needed for necessary agency approvals Qualifications of a successful candidate may include the following, but candidates will not be screened exclusively based on meeting these qualifications: • 3-5+ years of relevant project management experience in architecture, landscape architecture, construction, or owner’s representation, or related field, • Ability to work independently, multi-task, solve problems, and collaborate with a variety of colleagues, external vendors, contractors, designers, and partners at all levels, • Ability to read construction drawings and understand specifications; understanding of construction administration including submittal/shop drawing review process, • Ability to manage budgets and schedules, • Knowledge of industry standards, • Attentive to detail, • Comfort working in a fast-paced and flexible office environment, • Excellent skills in verbal, written, and graphic communication, • Proficiency in AutoCAD, • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, planning, landscape architecture, construction management, or related field, • Experience in the fields of planning, landscape architecture, architecture, design, and the operations/programming of public spaces, • Experience working with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and other industry professionals, • Proficiency in Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite, • Understanding of contracts and insurance, • Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions, as needed, • Some evening and weekend work required based on project needs, • Ability to work from the FHL offices in the Meatpacking District at least three days per week, with flexibility to be in the office more frequently as needed based on project demands and other responsibilities This is a full-time exempt position with a salary range of $82,500-$87,500 based upon experience and qualifications. The Unarmed Protective Security Officer maintains an environment that is safe and comfortable for client’s guests and employees. The Protective Security Officer is the first line of security. Serving as protection specialists, they will protect critical assets for each event, respond to emergencies, perform general security duties, and document unusual incidents. The Protective Security Officer must work as a member of the security team, act professionally, and demonstrate courtesy and respect to all. Job Description Reporting to the Associate Curator of High Line Art and working under the direction of the Director & Chief Curator, the Assistant Curator is responsible for a broad range of tasks related to the coordination and development of High Line Art’s program. Thriving in a fast-paced, creative environment, they contribute ideas and conduct other curatorial work to support High Line Art’s program, and collaborate across teams within Friends of the High Line to ensure that needs around installations and programs are communicated and fulfilled. They work closely with the Associate Curator to present commissioned, site-specific performances, and help to conceive of public programs connected to the art program. They lead on logistical, administrative, and operational support, including but not limited to liaising with artists, conducting research, managing budgets, and organizing and archiving photos, videos, and contacts. Summary of the Position: The Community Health Worker (CHW) Supervisor oversees a team of five Community Health Workers who will provide health coaching services, community engagement and outreach activities, advocacy campaign events, peer support groups, group wellness activities, and health educational workshops to NYCHA Residents in East & Central Harlem who are diagnosed with poorly controlled asthma, hypertension, and diabetes. The CHW Supervisor will provide direct supervision to Community Health Workers, including quality assurance of individual and group health coaching and wellness promotion activities. The Supervisor works collaboratively with program leadership and peer supervisor to support program consistency, shared learning, and alignment with organizational goals, while maintaining autonomy in the day-to-day supervision and development of their assigned team. The CHW Supervisor will monitor participant transitions with the collective support of the HHAP Team including escalation and participant graduation from the program. In collaboration with HHAP leadership and the peer supervisor, The CHW Supervisor will conduct case reviews, case conferences, and outreach/engagement discussions with all Community Health Workers to provide feedback, share best practices, teach through challenges, and ensure all program participants are making progress towards their health goals. The CHW Supervisor will share responsibility for overall program success and activities, including Health Coaching and Community Engagement efforts. The CHW Supervisor will work with the peer supervisor to monitor Health Coaching activities for the team and collaborate with them on best practices, changes, or concerns. The CHW Supervisor will execute health coaching plans, community outreach plans, monitor community engagement activities, and organize community campaigns with the collective support of the peer supervisors, Program Manager, and the HHAP team. The Supervisor will participate in shared planning of event details, and continuous quality improvement efforts with peer supervisors to strengthen consistency and effectiveness across CHW teams. Financial Management Serve as the chief financial steward of the Academy, acting as a strategic partner to the President and ELT to ensure the Academy’s short- and long-term financial health, sustainability, and capacity for strategic growth.
