Job Description As a Teacher's Aide, you will play an important role in supporting student learning and working as part of a dynamic team of professionals. ACA is dedicated to providing specialized training to help you gain the skills necessary to teach and support autistic students as they learn across our home and school settings. Teacher Aides interested in professional growth are provided with opportunities to obtain NYS TA certification, higher education discounts and scholarships, and career track opportunities. Pay Range: $18.50 - $22.67 Hourly; Based on experience, education and NYS Teaching Assistant Certifications. Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm Responsibilities: • Support student learning of personal care, nutrition, and household skills; teach students to safely transition from “home” to school., • Implement educational and behavioral support plans to help students develop independent skills and achieve identified goals., • Communicate with classroom teacher and other support professionals to optimize student learning., • Complete required data and documentation forms related to student learning, health, and behavioral support., • Model communication, social and interpersonal skills for students and deliver positive feedback as student's progress in these areas., • Upon successful completion of targeted training, safely and accurately administer student medication. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least one year’s experience working with the developmentally disabled population., • Must maintain qualifications in the crisis intervention procedure of the agency., • Must be capable at all times of initiating or assisting in all components of the crisis intervention of the agency., • Must be capable at all times of assisting occupants in the orderly evacuation of the facility, by both primary and secondary paths in the event of fire or other emergency. Job Description Provides support to the Director of Operations or Designee with overseeing functions of the Fleet/Custodial Department. Responsible for monitoring the quality of work performed by the Fleet/Custodial staff. Performs periodic inspections of all designated facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Department standards. Monitors training compliance for Fleet/Custodial staff within the Operations Department. Balances operational, capacity and staffing issues to achieve efficiency and staffing targets. Effectively uses department budgets, input files and reports to make accurate and effective judgments and recommendations based on the data. Participates in Operations meetings to discuss current department status and upcoming areas of focus. Works collaboratively with other Operation department coordinators to identify, analyze and resolve issues/problems in a timely manner and without impact to those we serve. Job Description Under the direction of the Residence Manager, the Shift Supervisor serves as the “in-charge” of the shift during his/her scheduled hours. This includes monitoring of the safety and cleanliness of the living environment, ensuring approved staff/individual ratios, ensuring compliance with valued outcomes and recreation schedules. This position is the liaison between the Residence Manager and Residential Direct Support Professionals Pay Range: $20.70 - $25.57 Hourly; Based on education, experience and RBT certification.
