Job Description Step into a pivotal role as Senior Director of CABLExpress, where you’ll lead strategy, innovation, and operational excellence for enterprise and data center cabling solutions. The Senior Director of CABLExpress is accountable for the strategy, growth, and operational excellence of the structured cabling business—including copper, fiber, and pathway infrastructure across enterprise, data center, campus, industrial, and OSP environments. This role owns P&L, revenue/margin performance, solution standardization, delivery quality, product development and customer satisfaction. The leader will build and scale high‑performing teams (engineering, product management, product development, supply chain), strengthen OEM partnerships, and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer SLAs. The Senior Director partners closely with Sales, Pre‑Sales Engineering, and Managed Services to drive end‑to‑end outcomes from design through turn‑up and warranty. This position is in Syracuse, NY or Norcross, GA What you'll be doing: Strategic Leadership & Growth • Develop and execute a 1–3-year growth strategy for market focus, offerings, geographic expansion, and workforce planning., • Work with the Chief Product Officer to develop and execute strategic growth plans for the team and markets., • Assist the Chief Product Officer in business planning, budgeting, and new business initiatives critical to company goals., • Own full P&L responsibility, including bookings, revenue recognition, gross margin, inventory, backlog, and WIP., • Build scalable delivery models by establishing make/buy criteria for self-perform versus subcontract approaches., • Standardize design and installation practices by creating playbooks for copper, fiber, and pathways, including BOMs and installation standards., • Implement quality and commissioning processes, including testing, labeling, documentation, as-builts, and closeout procedures., • Support go-to-market and pricing strategy by partnering with Sales on pipeline health, strategic pursuits, estimates, and differentiators., • Lead pre-sales engineering efforts, including design meetings, customer walkthroughs, and conference calls to drive sales., • Develop proposal and RFP frameworks, including repeatable templates and value-engineering options., • Build and develop high-performing teams by recruiting leaders, defining career paths, certifications, and competency matrices., • Lead and coach product managers to achieve sales and product management excellence through instruction and example., • Establish career paths, training programs, and development plans for all Services team members., • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, customer advocacy, and operational excellence., • Deliver presentations and updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders., • Maintain close communication with other departments to develop and drive business., • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience., • 3-5 years’ team management experience, preferably in sales/product management roles., • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail, appreciation of deadlines, and commitment to follow-up is essential., • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills., • Exhibit strong teamwork and interpersonal skills., • Ability to hire, assess, train, coach and motivate individual sales members., • Ability to work collaboratively with personnel/departments throughout the organization., • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form., • Ability to get required information in a timely manner using various sources., • Ability to effectively communicate the CXtec value proposition., • Implement market and target customer strategies highlighting equal2new value prop and sale of cables., • Strong customer orientation., • Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the job and the company core values., • Experience in a high technology field preferred.
