Job DescriptionSalary: $85k-100K JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Director of Quality Report To: Chief Medical Officer Job Summary: Director of Quality plays a crucial role in strategic initiatives that enhance clinical outcomes, optimize value-based care operations, and drive continues quality improvement across our healthcare delivery ecosystem. This role focuses on developing and implementing innovative quality transformation strategies, leveraging data-driven insights that will improve patient care, health of our communities, and ensure alignment with value based contracting (VBC) models. Organizational Overview: Forward Leading IPA (FLIPA) is a nonprofit membership association of safety net providers working in partnership to provide the highest quality integrated healthcare to historically underserved populations in Upstate New York since 2017. FLIPA is renowned for its commitment to integrating primary care, behavioral health, and social care needs. Our growing membership serves individuals across more than 27 counties and includes federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), behavioral health providers, and a rural health network consisting of eight county public health departments. Security Level:Leadership Duties/ Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clinical, financial, and operational teams to collect, review, and implement evidence-based practices., • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across all levels of the organization., • Design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement projects to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience., • Work closely with data team to identify reporting needs and requirements., • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify trends, measure success, and guide decision making., • Collaborate with payers, providers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with value-based reimbursement structures and quality incentives., • Develop and manage initiatives that optimize care coordination, reduce costs, and improve health outcomes under value-based care contracts., • Partner with FLIPA organizations clinical teams to implement evidence-based best practices and standardize care delivery models., • Partner with FLIPA organizations to ensure the integration of population health strategies to enhance preventive care, chronic disease management, and care transitions., • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning to support clinical integration initiatives., • Work with Executive Team to identify and implement emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in quality improvement., • Foster a culture of innovation by supporting pilot programs, research, and technology-driven solutions to improve care delivery., • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to convey progress, challenges, and opportunities related to risk adjustment and quality improvement initiatives., • Support the Value Based contracting process., • Establish performance metrics and monitor operational efficiency, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal results., • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements., • Facilitate the Performance Management Committee and further the work and the objectives such as FLIPA member action plans., • Participate in budget review, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure financial health and sustainability., • Ensure organization operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations., • Bachelors degree in nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field, • Strong background in healthcare quality, performance improvement, population health management. Minimum 5 years preferred., • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing programs to improve quality standards and deliver measurable results., • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, • Outstanding communication and people skills, • Knowledge of industrys legal rules and guidelines, • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics, • Salary is commensurate to education and experience with a range of pay $85k-100K.
