Job Description We are working with a longstanding food manufacturing company that is looking for a skilled Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic in their Central NY facility. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for completing assigned duties to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction by performing preventative maintenance and performing breakdowns on all production equipment. For this role you must have experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Required Skills/Qualifications: • GED or High School diploma (Technical training or electrical/mechanical technician degree preferred)., • 3+ years’ experience within the mechanical field in food or beverage manufacturing (dairy preferred)., • Experience with programmable logic controllers, instruments, and controls., • Ability to report to work at scheduled times and communicate tardiness and absences with the assigned Supervisor/Manager ahead of time., • Experience working on manufacturing equipment as well as utilities (ammonia refrigeration a plus)., • Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments.
