Position: Revit Operator Pyramid Management Group is seeking a teammate with a passion for Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) modelling to contribute to our company's collective goals. As a Revit Operator in Pyramid's corporate office, you will play a key role in generating, developing, and maintaining computer generated drawings and records using Revit software (primarily), and AutoCAD software (occasionally) for facility space management of our portfolio of shopping centers. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with various in-house teams including leasing, legal, operations, construction, development, accounting, revenue, and finance. You'll also interact regularly with our mall teams including Operations Directors, Tenant Coordinators, and Facilities Coordinators. This position is full-time in our corporate downtown Syracuse office and conveniently located approx.. 1 mile from Destiny USA. Goals + Objectives Our primary mission is to provide excellent support to all departments within Pyramid for the conduct of our day-to-day business in a positive and responsive manner with a focus on providing leasing with the tools they need to engage prospective tenants. The goals of this position include: • Support a determined group of highly motivated leasing representatives in their efforts to acquire new tenants and improve overall tenant mixes in all of our shopping centers., • Ensure consistency in the documentation of our portfolio of shopping centers., • Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of program standards related to Revit/CADD and other modeling standards to maximize efficiencies and reduce labor. Responsibilities + Tasks As a Revit Operator, your work will support all departments throughout the company by providing plans and documents to support the day-to-day needs of our team. The responsibilities of this position include: • Operate a Revit/CADD station in the production of project documents. Project requirements include drafting and modeling., • Responsible for meeting established schedules required of project work., • Work closely with other internal departments and mall teams to meet drawing needs., • Maintain the drawing records for our entire portfolio of shopping centers., • Create Dimension Control Plans (DCPs) as requested for all tenants / prospective tenants throughout the portfolio. (Mall teams verify the DCPs that CADD generates.), • Create wall plans, marketing plans, and future ("dream") plans., • Maintain operational plans of existing tenants / common area configurations., • Create and maintain site plans, land sale plans, and parcel plans., • Maintain utility and operations-based plans including parking lot, roof, electrical distribution panel, etc., • Create and maintain other informational plans for various departments at the Home Office (budget plans, year-end plans, Tenant Design Handbook plans and diagrams, etc.)., • Assist in tenant conceptual layouts as needed in collaboration with Tenant Coordination. Qualifications The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent multitasking abilities, possess a strong work ethic, have a team-focused mindset, and possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have strong working knowledge of Revit/CADD hardware, software, and equipment. Candidates should possess the ability to read, reference, and interpret architectural and engineering documents and have familiarity with building codes and ADA requirements. Working knowledge of site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and interior design disciplines. Rendering experience is preferred, especially the use of Photoshop, but not required. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates must contribute to a positive and encouraging workplace culture, helping to drive our collective success. Education + Experience Candidates should have a solid background in Revit building modeling and CADD drafting, with an Associate Arts or Architectural Degree / Associate Architectural Technology or Drafting Degree (2-year) with coursework in Revit and CADD, and/or 1 year experience in Revit in Facilities Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
