Job Description SPICE WORLD Traffic Clerk For more than 76 years, Spice World has been passionate about bringing everyone to a world full of flavor, year-round. As a Traffic Clerk, you will be responsible for printing and preparing the pre pick, staging and loading documents of Outbound Shipments; will enter in the information system data related to shipments (example: carrier name, load #, truck seal numbers, sales orders, etc …). This role is also responsible for completing the “Advance Shipment Notice” for customer in different portals. • Responsible for following company GMP and Safety guidelines and SOP’s, • Communicate shipment status and issues to lead and relevant departments., • Data entry in customer portals, company portals and systems., • Run necessary reports to update transportation tools., • Print daily, on time Pre pick, Stagers and Outbound Loads packages, • Create and print ASN’s for the customers that require them (recommended to complete them a few days in advance), • Activate temperature tales, • Archive received transfers and PO’s, • Print manifest document for PO’s (Receipts), Transfers coming in, • Open work orders for Forklift Operators repairs, • As needed, answer emails from the Carriers, 4PL team, Customer Service and Sales Departments with detailed information on inquiries and resolutions., • Maintain organized records and files for transportation and logistics activities., • As needed, cover the dispatch position during breaks and leaves, • Availability to work from Mondays to Fridays and overtime if necessary., • Must be able to communicate, write, and speak in English. Preferably fully Bilingual (English/Spanish), • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), especially Excel., • Proficiency in managing customer portals and websites., • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimum supervision., • High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended., • Experience of 1 or more years of Transportation, Warehouse or Distribution Center experience recommended., • Prior experience in logistics, dispatching or freight planning is preferred., • Utilize knowledge and requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices., • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are necessary to work in a customer-focused working environment., • Good organization and business administration skills, attention to detail, and willingness to improve, learn and adapt in accordance with the modern practice methods are some of the other required skills., • Manage time effectively, as they may need to handle multiple functions and meet deadlines consistently., • Function independently with minimal supervision and should be self-motivated., • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, • Must be able to work in a team as well as independently, • Analytical and problem-solving skills., • Strong commitment to company goals and values., • Insurance coverage (Medical, Dental & Vision), • 401(k) with employer match (100% of first 3% and 50% of 4-5%), • Paid holidays (10 days) and generous paid time-off., • Paid Long-term Disability, • Paid Life Insurance Spice World, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
