    About the Role The Head Maître d’ owns NORTE’s reservation book and leads the guest experience from the first request for a table through the end of the visit. This role combines commercial judgment, precise dining room management, and highly personal hospitality. Working closely with the General Manager, the Head Maître d’ builds demand, develops regular guests, and ensures the room feels exceptional every night. In preparation for our upcoming opening, this position requires participation in a mandatory training program. Key Responsibilities Strategic Floor & Reservation Management • Own table inventory, availability, seating plans, pacing, and turn times., • Manage cancellations, waitlists, last-minute requests, and walk-ins to make effective use of every service., • Protect the guest experience while making sound decisions about covers and revenue., • Balance regulars, first-time guests, VIPs, celebrations, and walk-ins throughout the room. Guest Relations • Recognize guests, anticipate preferences, and turn first visits into lasting relationships., • Maintain accurate guest profiles and visit history in Loyalist., • Build genuine relationships with regulars, concierges, and the New York hospitality community., • Handle sensitive requests and guest recovery with discretion, warmth, and sound judgment. Service Leadership • Partner with the General Manager on daily reservation priorities, VIP arrivals, pacing, and guest experience., • Communicate seating decisions and guest information clearly to the host and service teams., • Make timely decisions during service as conditions change., • Serve as a trusted point of contact and an informed presence in the dining room. Qualifications • Prior experience as a Maître d’, Head Maître d’, or Reservations Manager at a high-demand New York City restaurant., • Direct, hands-on ownership of the reservation book, table inventory, waitlist, VIP relationships, and service pacing., • Strong command of Resy or OpenTable and restaurant table management., • Demonstrated ability to recognize guests, build regular clientele, and make effective decisions under pressure., • Excellent communication, organization, discretion, and sound business judgment., • Required: Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages, • Strong social intelligence, presence, and emotional awareness in high-profile guest-facing environments, • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive guest matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, • Warm, polished, and hospitality-driven demeanor, with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences., • High level of professionalism, confidence, and poise in fast-paced, high-demand restaurant environments, • Preferred: Experience with a hospitality CRM such as Loyalist and established relationships within New York City’s restaurant community. POSITION SUMMARY The Joe & The Juice Team is looking for a highly motivated, skilled tax professional to join our in-house tax team. Based in New York City, this role will report into the Senior Manager, Tax, in Copenhagen. The Manager of Tax will be a key member of the tax team, responsible for the day-to-day operations, including the accuracy and timeliness of compliance and tax reporting matters. This position will support direct and indirect tax compliance and tax accounting matters for Joe & The Juice's US and global operations. The role will partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to support them with all tax related matters. The role interfaces with partners across the organization, including the Accounting, Treasury, HR, Finance, Real estate & Growth and Legal teams to optimize existing processes, solve business challenges, design new workflows, and implement new technology solutions to drive efficient and accurate reporting. You will be responsible for strengthening relationships with third party advisors. You will be a critical member in the development of an adaptive Tax department that continues to scale to support Joe & The Juice's growth goals. The ideal candidate takes a proactive approach towards driving quality results, thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks creatively, and strives to consistently exceed expectations. Responsibilities: • Responsible for reading, knowing and complying with all appropriate governing documents to include contracts, agency policies and procedures, State or Federal standards, specific program operations manuals and circulars both internal and external., • Ensures compliance with the agency’s Operations and Personnel Manuals and the Division of Developmental Disabilities Standards Manual., • Completes and submits in a competent, and timely manner all reports, forms, and documentation as required by the agency and Division of Developmental Disabilities., • Understands basic developmental disabilities and learning styles, using motivation techniques to help clients improve in areas with behavioral or medical challenges., • Must complete all CDS trainings and refreshers as directed., • Attend staff meetings, all other relevant meetings and training as directed., • Assist clients with goal outcomes established on the Individual Service Plan (ISP)., • Responsible for reading the ISP and working within the documented expectation for client development., • Provides a consistent means of relaying accurate and complete information to direct supervisors., • Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors according to plans that are in place., • Provides training and supervision to clients in all aspects of community experience living., • Serves as a positive role model for clients and other staff., • Provides safe transportation in agency vehicles for clients as necessary., • Maintains confidentiality and professionalism when communicating with family members or group home staff, Support Coordinators and any outside agency personnel., • Maintains active, positive engagement with clients at all times., • Always ensures the safety and well-being of clients., • Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs., • Proactively accompany and support clients during medical appointments, ensuring relevant information is provided to the healthcare professional. Clearly and accurately communicate details from the appointment to the Residential Coordinator, Medical Compliance Officer, and/or designee., • Follow and demonstrate understanding of medication policy and procedures in the monitoring and administration of the client’s medications. Completes Medication Error Report when needed., • Ensures home, grounds, yard and van are maintained in clean, safe, and sanitary condition., • Ensures meals are prepared and planned based on clients’ individual diet, client input, and the planned menu for the month., • Ensures that the Recreation Calendar is carried out as per client input and as per the planned calendar completed each month., • Responsible for competing all required documentation to include but not limited to, daily logs, communication logs, and behavior reports., • Ensures line of sight for the individual(s) being supported is maintained and completes reports accordingly., • Responsible for adequately and completely cleaning the home during any shift worked., • Ensures that a client’s dignity is not compromised in any way., • Responsible for reporting all emergencies or unusual incidents to direct supervisor., • Cooperates with the licensee and Department staff in any inspection, inquiry or investigation.
