    The Server maintains all dining room environments and equipment. The AM Server is responsible for ensuring the dining room is clean and tidy, assisting guests when they have questions about the menus/wine list, taking guests' orders, anticipating guests' needs and addressing them accordingly. This position has an hourly rate of $17.00 + Tips. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Review menu for changes and specials Always provide excellent service to all of our guests Review your workstation and your mise en place, make sure all is up to par before you start your shift Set tables and stations up to company standards Keep the dining room and workstation clean and organized, ensure that all silverware and glasses are wiped and spotless Take guest food and beverage orders Extensive knowledge of food and beverage to service and up-sell our product, including liquors and cocktails Review soigne/cheat sheet before approaching the table Mark tables appropriately to food order for each course Always confirm order with the guest and double check accuracy of order before sending to the kitchen Follow SOP's on placing orders with allergies and dietary restrictions Set up tables according to hosts' communication Enter all sales in POS without errors. Double check list of items before "sending" Be responsible for making decisions during absence of management with the needs of the guest in mind Make sure that all products served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting to the guest Set the pace and direct the flow of service Upkeep and clear tables between courses throughout the meal Support the server assistant as needed to secure service to our guests up to our standards Verify guest satisfaction with each table during each course served Anticipate guest needs, where guests will never have to ask for anything Wish each guest a warm welcome and farewell and thank them for coming Ensure all closing side-works are thoroughly completed At the end of the shift deliver all checks and report to the appropriate place according to the rules Setting and maintaining the dining room environment ensuring materials are perfectly clean and organized Following the posted opening and closing duties and side-work sheet Attend daily pre meal/communication meetings & monthly departmental meetings Generate a good atmosphere * All other responsibilities assigned by management REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS • 3 years' experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar restaurant or food and beverage setting, • Must have open availability and able to work weekends, • Positive, engaging, and energetic personality, • Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision, • Very high attention to detail, • Sensitive to cultural nuances, • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English, • Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment, • Excellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders, • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies, • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, • Multi-lingual is a plus, • TIPS and ServSafe Certified
