Job Description Position Summary The Residential Director (RD) is responsible for the daily operations of the residence, ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment for residents and staff. The RD will create a professional atmosphere characterized by respect, consistency, and concern, enabling residents to heal from past traumas, address present challenges, and prepare for a more stable future. The RD will also provide mentorship and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). The RD is a Mandated Reporter in accordance with NYS Social Services Law. Additionally, the Residential Director is trained as a Mandated Reporter for suspected child abuse and maltreatment, as required by NYS Social Services Law.
