Position Overview: In partnership with the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer (CDO), the Vice President, Resource Development (VPRD) is responsible for executing on comprehensive fundraising strategies across individuals, corporations, and foundations. They will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of all aspects of UWNYC’s fundraising process, including communications to donors and prospects; prospect research; solicitation of foundation, corporate and individual donors; gift planning; donor stewardship; and fundraising accounting within the customer relationship management (CRM) software system. The VPRD is tasked with managing the human and operational infrastructure needed to diversify UWNYC’s donor base/pipeline, sustaining and growing our budget by securing funding through corporate partners, major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, affinity groups, and sponsorships. dictated by individual need based upon regular monitoring and assessment of response to services. * Oversees, maintains and/or ensures appropriate and accurate completion of all required paperwork, communications and documentation for persons supported in accordance with prescribed guidelines and timelines including monthlies, Staff Action Plan, Life Plan meetings, psychiatric and therapy anecdotals, Person-Centered Plans, meeting minutes, billing, etc. * Regularly trains all direct care staff and management at assigned programs on individual service, staff action plans and behavior management services using the Explain Model Observe Evaluate (EMOE) training system to ensure that all clinical interventions are properly implemented, to communicate clinical rationales and treatment plans to the staff, to provide staff with both formal and informal feedback, and to role model at all times appropriate tone, implementing of habilitative and behavioral programming, and to teach symptoms, definitions and common behaviors, including behavior as communication for individuals, when applicable. * Evaluates and provides feedback to program staff and supervisors regarding performance in the areas of Core Competencies by direct care staff at assigned programs. * Appropriately supports direct care staff and works with leadership team, modeling and mobilizing supports during crisis situations and making recommendations for supports. * Oversees and provides feedback relating to clinical duties performed by Assistant BISs or program designee(s) at assigned programs providing mentorship and focusing on development of clinical, data collection and other related skills to support career development. * Serves as a clinical team leader and key member of the treatment team, providing data, updates and/or recommendations regarding progress, developments and other significant items regarding individuals in interdisciplinary meetings and case reviews, including scheduled Person-Centered meetings and interfaces with circles of support including family members and support providers; attends and actively participates in monthly BIS meetings, as required for clinical supervision and updates. * Performs all other duties as assigned. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Member of the Capital Markets team to support all aspects of capital markets operations, investor relations, and capital deployment strategy. This role sits at the intersection of corporate finance, deal execution, and portfolio strategy, and is ideal for someone experienced in leveraged finance, credit, structured products, or investment banking who wants to apply those skills in the music rights ecosystem. You will play a critical role in debt facility management, credit facility reporting, supporting capital raises, and driving analytical insights for senior leadership and external stakeholders. This role will report to the Head of Capital Markets with significant exposure to other senior leaders. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, a strong strategic thinker, and detail-oriented. POSTION OVERVIEW: Under the supervision of the Executive Deputy CFO, the SVP of Finance in affordable housing serves as a strategic leader overseeing all financial operations, capital structuring, and reporting for real estate development and asset management. Responsibilities include but not limited to, managing Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) syndication, securing debt/equity financing, overseeing project underwriting, ensuring compliance with HUD regulations, and other financial matters as directed by the Executive Deputy CFO and/or Chief Financial Officer. This is a managerial position. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Lead financial structuring for complex, multi-layered affordable housing developments, including securing LIHTC, HUD, bonds, and gap funding., • Structure and negotiate agreements with investors, developers, and public agencies., • Create, analyze, and update detailed financial models (e.g., in Excel) for project feasibility, operating costs, and revenue., • Responsible for all financial data required for any capital project applications., • Develop long-term financial goals and strategies, advising on portfolio performance and asset management., • Monitor compliance with regulatory agreements (HUD, IRC Section 42) and oversee the preparation of financial reports, audits, and investor reports., • Stakeholder Management - Represent the organization to stakeholders, including government entities and community partners, • Lead the annual budgeting process; prepare monthly and quarterly board and executive reports., • Manages all financial reporting aspects of the various Federal/State/City grants for the organization including filing of required cost reports and submission of claims/vouchers., • Responsible for the preparation of the monthly financial statements and yearly closing., • Identify and drive operational improvement via data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting throughout the organization., • Conducts account reconciliations and analysis on a regular basis., • Implement and lead monthly financial meetings with the leadership team to review budget versus actuals on all key expense, capital expenditure and fixed asset lines., • Drive continued business growth and increased profitability by proactively identifying resource allocation optimization/prioritization opportunities through analysis., • Oversees external audits for assigned entities., • Supervises Accounting Staff and provide training and assistance as required., • Minimum of (7) years related work experience in affordable housing development, public finance, or real estate finance., • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or real estate management., • Supervisory experience required., • Expertise in LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), HUD programs (Section 8), and municipal/state financing., • Strong analytical and modeling skills (Excel) and knowledge of YARDI accounting software preferred., • Ability to interpret complex financial data and legal documents (loan agreements, partnership agreements)., • Ability to manage project timelines and budgets from pre-development through construction and stabilization., • Expert negotiation capabilities, and strategic leadership skills., • Knowledge of GAAP, preparing and managing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements., • Proven track record of creating and implementing financial reporting processes with experience in significantly improving financial results., • Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making., • Must be able to multi-task with strong organizational skills.
