Job DescriptionJob Title: Client Support SpecialistBe the Face of the Showroom. Make Every Project a Success. The Showroom Client Support Specialist is the welcoming, knowledgeable first point of contact for customers who walk into or reach out to our showroom. In this highly visible role, you’ll guide homeowners tackling DIY projects as well as commercial and trade clients placing material orders—helping them move confidently from idea to completion. You’ll support customers throughout the entire sales and fulfillment journey: answering questions, recommending products, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and following up to ensure everything went smoothly. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems, and being part of a tight‑knit, family‑owned organization, this role offers both stability and room to grow. What You’ll Do • Create a warm, professional, and helpful experience for every showroom visitor, • Assist DIY homeowners with product selection, quantities, and application considerations, • Support contractors, commercial clients, and trade customers with pricing, order placement, and account‑based service, • Respond promptly to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person, • Build trust by understanding customer needs and recommending practical, effective solutions, • Accurately enter and process orders using internal systems, • Coordinate inventory availability, scheduling, deliveries, and customer pickups, • Proactively communicate order status updates and timelines, • Resolve order issues, backorders, and delivery concerns efficiently and professionally, • Complete all required documentation, confirmations, and follow‑ups with attention to detail, • Conduct post‑order follow‑ups to confirm satisfaction and strengthen customer relationships, • Maintain organized customer records, notes, and order histories, • Support repeat business by delivering consistent, dependable service, • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth, end‑to‑end customer experiences, • Keep the showroom clean, organized, and welcoming, • Assist with product displays, samples, and general showroom upkeep, • Support administrative tasks related to sales tracking, reporting, and customer service, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, • Experience with order entry and data accuracy, • Comfort making outbound customer calls, • High School Diploma, • 3+ years of experience in customer service or a related industryWork Environment & Schedule, • Winter (December–March): Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, • Spring/Summer (April–November): Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Saturdays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, • Saturday work is required and includes guaranteed overtimeWhy Join Us?, • Family‑owned organization with a supportive, team‑oriented culture, • Clear opportunities for growth and expanded responsibilities, • Pay increase upon conversion to permanent employment, • Competitive permanent benefits package, including:, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Paid time off and paid holidays, • Paid sick time and disability insurance This is a Permanent position based out of FISHKILL, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
