Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all ProSmile offices maintain safe, functional, and clean facility conditions. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general infrastructure issues across multiple locations. As a mobile resource, the technician acts as a centralized facilities expert, supporting each office with preventative maintenance, urgent repairs, and project implementations to uphold high standards for patient and staff facilities. Duties & Responsibilities • Travel to and service ProSmile dental offices throughout PA, NJ, MD, and VA, following a rotating schedule or as requested., • Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, and building systems., • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues as needed., • Install, maintain, and repair facility equipment, fixtures, and appliances (e.g. sterilization systems, compressed air systems, suction units)., • Partner with the Compliance Specialist to ensure all maintenance work meets regulatory, safety, and building code requirements., • Document and track maintenance requests, work performed, parts used, and timelines using internal systems., • Prioritize urgent and scheduled maintenance work to minimize downtime and maintain continuity of operations., • Assist in planning and executing small capital projects or facility upgrades., • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers when specialty repairs or services are required., • Participate in inspections and audits, ensuring facilities remain compliant and meet quality standards., • Communicate clearly with on-site office teams, leadership, and providers regarding facility issues, schedules, and expected outcomes., • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Qualifications & Other Requirements, • 3+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or technical repair roles, preferably in multi-site or mobile environments, • Strong technical aptitude: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, • Ability to travel frequently (100%), including overnight stays, • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, • Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple locations and priorities, • Ability to work independently and make judgment calls in the field, • Comfortable with documentation and reporting (digital or paper-based), • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and stakeholders, • Vocational or technical certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or similar trade, • Experience in healthcare, dental, or clinical facility environments, • Experience coordinating with compliance or regulatory standards, • Knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, and OSHA guidelines, • High School diploma or GED Benefits Summary At ProSmile, we are committed to supporting the health and well-being of our employees and their families.
