Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Located in Woodbridge, NJ, this contract Speech Language Pathology position offers the opportunity to support Pre-K to elementary students in an educational setting. The role spans from September 2 to December 10, averaging 35 hours per week, and is structured as a leave replacement. Three openings are available, each designed to serve differing student needs within elementary school environments. Position 1 focuses on Pre-School Disabled and Kindergarten students, while Position 2 involves working in an elementary school that serves a high population of Pre-School students with disabilities, including Autism. These assignments provide a meaningful chance to apply Speech-Language Pathology expertise in pediatric education to promote improved communication outcomes. Qualifications and Experience: β’ Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology license required, β’ Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, β’ Experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in healthcare, pediatric, or school settings, β’ Familiarity with speech and language therapy approaches tailored to preschool and elementary-aged children, β’ Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in Pre-K through elementary students, β’ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs), β’ Track student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly to enhance outcomes This opportunity supports a district culture focused on effective, engaging instruction to elevate student achievement, grounded in the philosophy that all children can learn with effort.
