Position Overview The Jewish Education Project seeks a full-time Director of K-12 Program Implementation to play a critical leadership role on the CJIL team. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Director of K-12 Program Implementation will develop and execute a plan to broaden and deepen delivery of professional development, resources and direct-to student experiences from partner content providers across districts, school buildings and associations. Through partnerships with leaders in districts, school buildings and associations like the UFT, the Director of K-12 Program Implementation will deliver broader and deeper professional development, resources and direct to student experiences about the Jewish people and Israel. The Director will lead a growing team responsible for engaging district and school building leaders in New York City Public Schools (NYCPS), as well as Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk County public schools. They will serve as the primary point of contact for NYCPS educational leaders and will supervise others in doing so in the NYC suburbs and within NYC as the team expands. The Director of K-12 Program Implementation will also contribute to strategic planning and development related to outreach, evaluation, and scaling of CJIL’s work in NYCPS and neighboring school systems.
