Position Summary Our Client is seeking an experienced and driven Large Loss Project Manager to lead the oversight and successful delivery of large-scale commercial and residential restoration and reconstruction projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, insurance representatives, and subcontractors — managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from initial scope development through final completion. This is a front-line leadership position that requires deep field knowledge, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent results under pressure. Key Responsibilities • Oversee the full project lifecycle on large loss and commercial restoration/reconstruction projects, including water, fire, mold, and storm-related losses, • Conduct thorough on-site inspections and assessments to develop accurate, detailed scopes of work and estimates using Xactimate or comparable estimating software, • Negotiate scope and estimate approvals with homeowners, property managers, business owners, and insurance adjusters, • Hire, schedule, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors across all trades including carpentry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, • Manage project budgets, job costing, and profitability — tracking expenses against estimates and flagging variances proactively, • Apply for required building permits and coordinate all necessary inspections with local authorities, • Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable local building codes; conduct regular safety toolbox talks on job sites, • Provide detailed written project updates with photos during and after every site visit to keep clients, insurance representatives, and internal teams informed, • Review all job site documentation to ensure services rendered are accurately recorded and billing requirements are met, • Manage customer and client satisfaction throughout the project, fostering trust and resolving concerns swiftly, • Coordinate with the Operations Manager and General Manager on daily priorities, resource allocation, and project status, • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training production teammates as needed, • Respond to emergency large loss events as required — availability for on-call response is expected Required Qualifications • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restoration, construction, or project management with demonstrated large loss or commercial project experience, • Strong working knowledge of Xactimate estimating software, • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record, • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, or equivalent) preferred or willingness to obtain, • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects on time and within budget, • Excellent communication skills — written and verbal — with clients, insurers, and crews, • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call emergency response, • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field a plus, • Physical ability to climb ladders, work at heights, navigate crawl spaces and attics, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs Compensation & Benefits Our Client offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience, including: • Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience), • Performance-based bonus eligibility, • Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) with company matching, • Paid time off (vacation, sick, and holidays), • Ongoing industry training and certification support, • Opportunity for advancement within a fast-growing franchise Why Join Our Client?
