Job Description Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. This full-time, contract position as a 1:1 Sign Language Interpreter supports a K-12 student who is Deaf or Hard of Hearing during the academic school year. Located in Atlantic City, NJ, the role requires facilitating munication between the student, peers, teachers, and staff by interpreting spoken English into American Sign Language (ASL) or other munication methods specified in the students Individualized Education Program (IEP).
