We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join a dynamic Guardianship & Elder Law practice within a well-established, growing mid-sized law firm. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with experienced partners in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with meaningful client interaction and regular court exposure. What You’ll Do: • Handle a mix of litigation and transactional matters, including guardianship proceedings and elder law cases, • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents; conduct research; and appear in court (virtual and in-person), • Work directly with partners while collaborating across all levels of staff, from legal assistants to firm leadership, • Gain exposure to Surrogate’s Court, Supreme Court, and public benefits matters including Medicaid planning What We’re Looking For: • 4–5 years of relevant experience preferred; open to more junior candidates with strong academic coursework and a clear interest in this practice area, • Experience or familiarity with guardianship proceedings, elder law, Medicaid planning, or related areas, • Comfortable managing both litigation and transactional responsibilities, • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills, • Interest in mentorship and potential supervisory/managerial responsibilities, • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • J.D. from an accredited law school, • Admission to the state bar, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office PrideGlobal and it's affiliates offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
