Job DescriptionSenior Litigation Attorney Senior Litigation Attorney Position Overview We are a respected mid-size, full service firm in New Jersey, seeking a skilled Senior Litigation Attorney to join our Litigation Practice Group. We are looking for individuals with 8+ years of experience, ideally focused on litigation in various areas of law. In this role you would be in charge of a diverse caseload including civil, environmental, redevelopment, land use, labor & employment, commercial, and public entity defense. This role involves representing clients in complex legal disputes and providing strategic legal advice to achieve favorable outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Represent clients in litigation matters before courts and administrative agencies., • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs., • Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support litigation strategy., • Engage in trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organization., • Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation cases from inception through resolution., • Negotiate settlements and engage in arbitration and mediation processes., • Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management., • Provide clients with expert legal counsel and representation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations., • Juris Doctor (JD), • Active bar admission in the state of New Jersey, • Admitted to U.S District Court for the District of New Jersey, • 8+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting, • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and trial preparation processes., • Proficient in legal writing and documentation., • Experience in representing clients in arbitration and mediation settings., • Familiarity with civil, environmental, labor & employment, redevelopment, land use, commercial, appellate, and public entity law., • 1850 billable hour requirement, • Performance-based- bonus opportunities, • PTO and Paid Holidays, • Hybrid work flexibility - 3 days in office 2 work from home, • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, • 401(k) plan, • Continuing Legal Education opportunities - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
