    Full job description About Real Photos Real Photos by Freddy's Colors has photographed New York City students and school communities since 1992. We provide high-volume school portraits, senior photography, graduation coverage, ID photography, and related school services throughout the five boroughs. Our success depends on dependable employees who combine technical consistency, efficient production, strong customer service, and respectful interaction with students and school staff. Position Summary Maintains daytime readiness and organization of the Real Photos studio by receiving deliveries, controlling inventory, organizing equipment and supplies, preparing event materials, and completing a clear handoff for the afternoon gear-preparation shift. Seasonality and Work Availability Real Photos is a seasonal business aligned with the school calendar. Peak event periods generally run from October through December and February through March. Work may be limited or unavailable during summer, holidays, school breaks, closures, cancellations, or other periods without scheduled events. The role is planned for up to 30 paid hours per week, but assignments and minimum hours are not guaranteed unless stated in writing. Employees are paid for all hours worked; when no work is assigned or scheduled and none is performed, no wages are earned, subject to the written offer and applicable law. Essential Responsibilities · Handle all photographic studio appointments as needed. · Open, organize, and maintain assigned studio work areas so equipment, clothing, props, supplies, and documents can be located quickly and safely. · Receive company and vendor deliveries, verify quantities and condition, record the receipt, and route each item to the correct department or storage area. · Maintain accurate inventory records and complete scheduled counts for equipment, accessories, backgrounds, clothing, props, ID materials, cases, and consumable supplies. · Store all items in labeled locations and keep shelves, racks, cabinets, equipment areas, and receiving areas orderly and secure. · Prepare and stage equipment, paperwork, labels, props, wardrobe, and support materials from approved event checklists before the afternoon handoff. · Prepare, print, sort, and quality-check ID cards or related materials when assigned and trained. · Track clothing and graduation garments that require washing, repair, replacement, or restocking and coordinate approved cleaning or follow-up. · Restock approved supplies and notify the manager before essential items reach the established reorder level. · Perform approved cleaning and basic troubleshooting and route damaged or malfunctioning items for repair; do not attempt unauthorized repairs. · Protect student information, images, memory media, paperwork, and company records and follow secure handling procedures. · Provide an accurate shift handoff to the PM Gear Prep Tech and timely status updates to Field Operations, drivers, photographers, Customer Service, and Lab teams. Required Qualifications · High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable relevant work experience. · Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow written checklists. · Comfort using labels, inventory logs, computers, printers, spreadsheets, and basic equipment-tracking systems. · Ability to stand and move for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds independently, and maintain the assigned 5- or 6-day schedule, including Saturdays when scheduled. Preferred Qualifications · Experience in a photography studio, warehouse, production, inventory, shipping and receiving, printing, or equipment environment. · Bilingual English/Spanish communication and familiarity with photography equipment, ID production, or school-picture operations. Key Performance and Responsibilities · Accurate receiving records, inventory counts, and discrepancy reporting. · On-time completion of studio opening, organizing, restocking, and preparation checklists. · Correct staging of equipment, materials, props, wardrobe, labels, and school-specific items. · Accuracy and quality of ID-card, printing, labeling, or sorting tasks when assigned. · Cleanliness, safety, security, and consistent organization of the studio work areas. · Clear handoffs and timely communication with the PM Gear Prep Tech and operating departments. Work Environment and Physical Requirements This role is primarily performed in the Manhattan studio and may involve standing and moving for extended periods, repeated bending or reaching, receiving deliveries, handling equipment cases and supply boxes, using computers and printers, and adapting to changing event priorities. Hours Meal Period and Overtime The normal start time is 10:00 a.m. The position is expected to work approximately 5 to 8 paid hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week, up to 30-40 paid hours. A 5-day 30-hour schedule may be 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.; a 6-day 30-hour schedule may be 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Actual schedules depend on events and operating needs. Meal periods will be provided when required by law or company policy. Employees may not work off the clock. Overtime is not normally scheduled, requires advance approval, and will be paid whenever required by law. Job summary: Experienced Peer Specialist to work on a newly funded innovative Care Transition team that serves participants transitioning to the community from a higher level of care. As a member of the Pathway Home multi-disciplinary team the Peer Specialist position will work under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role will involve facilitating transition from one level of care to the community by addressing the preparatory needs of participants in the early stages of recovery, discharge planning, development of daily living skills, and coping mechanisms through team and individual work in the community. The team will follow individuals into the community using the Pathway Home model of care to ensure that they become both linked and engaged with identified community providers and that their support network is sufficient to meet their needs. The Peer Specialist engages participants in peer-based services to identify and overcome barriers to community integration, utilizing a peer relationship to foster connection, trust, understanding and validation with community providers and supports. The role will require on call coverage and a willingness to work flexible hours. Job Responsibilities: • Engagement beginning from referring location with involvement in transition planning, including a needs assessment of community transition supports essential to stabilizing the participant;, • Individual sessions with participants emphasizing prevention and preparing for independent community living and the promotion of optimum mental and emotional health. May require helping participants deal with issues associated with but not limited to family and social relationships; stress and symptom management; activities of daily living; medication management; and housing readiness;, • Provide intensive emotional and practical support to participants as they transition back into their communities and into a supportive housing and/or living environment;, • Work with participants and their housing providers to resolve clinical issues that are impacting on the participant’s ability to obtain, manage, and retain supportive housing;, • Assist and instruct participants in attending to daily living skills such as personal hygiene, grooming and laundry, nutrition/meal preparation, budgeting, and socialization tasks and skills needed to successfully live and work in the community environments of their choice and also in maintaining a safe living environment;, • Foster and maintain cooperative and collaborative relationships with community providers and network members to facilitate connections or re-connections to services and supports;, • Community navigation including accompanying to first behavioral health and medical appointment, travel training, reengagement in community care, referral to services with ability to identify and address potential services and barriers to obtain and maintain such services;, • Establish collaborative working relationships with referring treatment teams and other partners and plan with them for appropriate discharges for participants;, • Advocate with and for program participants to achieve personal goals and address barriers such as fear, stigma and communication disparities with community providers and supports;, • Provide on-call after hour crisis intervention services when needed to participants and their support network, including respite referrals and other diversion and stabilization services;, • Attend and participate in team meetings and supervisory sessions;, • Develop short-term person-centered treatment plans to assist participant towards achieving their goals;, • Monitor and record participant’s progress and modify plan according to needs and preference;, • Perform various needs assessment for essential ongoing community integration and support;, • Timely and accurate documentation of participant information within Health Information Technology platform, • Comply with all required in-service training and staff development;, • Perform other related duties as assigned; Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Knowledge of Behavioral Health systems, Mental health legislation and regulations, and health conditions ·Ability to manage multiple projects and ask for help when needed ·Ability to participate on a team to accomplish tasks ·Serves as a role model to staff and stakeholders ·Ability to work with all stakeholders: participants, network, families, and government staff in a caring and respectful manner, and with due understanding of and consideration for cultural differences ·Knowledge of treatment, rehabilitation, and community support programs as they relate to members and their families ·Knowledge of techniques for identifying risk, including crisis management techniques Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent or higher.
