Description We are seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. The successful candidate will serve as a Lead Engineer and Technical Project Manager on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country as well as regional utilities. The candidate will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV. Job DescriptionPosition Summary Enterprise Technology & Information (ETI) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead and own program-level delivery, direct a team of project managers assigned to individual initiatives, and give ETI leadership clear, outcome-focused visibility into progress, risk, and value across the program. This is a contract engagement supporting the ETI PMO. What You Will Be Responsible For • Own end-to-end delivery of the AI Initiatives program, integrating the roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies of multiple concurrent AI projects into a single, coherent program plan, • Direct and mentor a team of project managers, each responsible for an individual initiative within the program, setting delivery standards and reviewing their status, risk, and financial reporting, • Establish and run program governance, including steering committee cadence, stage-gate reviews, and a consistent intake-to-delivery lifecycle across all AI initiatives, • Identify and resolve cross-project dependencies, resource conflicts, and technical risks before they affect the broader program timeline, • Own executive-ready reporting for the program, including weekly updates, executive summaries, and portfolio-level readouts for ETI leadership and the CTO, • Track program budget, resource allocation, and cost and value outcomes across all AI initiatives, escalating variances proactively, • Maintain the program's book of record in Smartsheet or equivalent portfolio management tooling, keeping status, RAID logs, and financials current for each initiative, • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, business stakeholders, and technical leadership, communicating status, risks, and decisions clearly and proactively, • Champion consistent project management practices, standards, and governance across the program, acting as an advocate for the PMO, • Support workforce and capacity planning for the program, working with ETI leadership to align project manager staffing to initiative priority and scope, • Maintain proactive visibility into program staffing, tracking onboarding status for incoming resources, current work assignments across the team, and progress against open staffing needs, and flagging gaps to ETI leadership before they affect delivery, • Evaluate and help mature program tooling and reporting practices as the portfolio grows, incorporating AI-enabled tools where they improve program delivery, • Hold decision-making authority over program-level scope, sequencing, and resourcing trade-offs, escalating only the exceptions that require executive input Basic Qualifications • Eight or more years of experience in program or project management, including experience overseeing multiple concurrent technology initiatives as a single program, • Experience directing or mentoring other project managers, with accountability for their delivery quality and reporting standards, • Demonstrated experience managing technology programs involving AI, machine learning, or intelligent automation initiatives, • Strong executive communication skills, with a track record of producing clear, outcome-focused status reporting for senior leadership, • Proficiency with portfolio management and reporting tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms, • Experience managing program budgets, resource allocation, and contract or vendor resources Preferred / Desired Qualifications • PMP, PgMP, or similar program or project management certification, • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices, • Experience in professional services or another regulated industry, • Experience with agile and hybrid delivery frameworks alongside traditional stage-gate methodologies, • Working knowledge of AI agent platforms, AI observability tooling, or MLOps practices

The Director of Operations Fellow is a full-time position that prepares you to become a Director of Operations (DOO) of an Uncommon school. As DOO, you will lead a school in partnership with the Principal, working together to ensure your students receive an exemplary education. The DOO Fellowship is based on a foundation of four core elements that are aligned to the competencies of Uncommon leaders. Each element is designed to build Fellows’ capacity towards becoming effective DOOs. These include Professional Development, Experiential Learning, Practical Application and Reflective Practice. The DOO Fellowship typically lasts one year; however, the length of time will vary based on open positions and DOO Fellow readiness. Fellows should expect to work in multiple locations and gradespans within the region. Fellow placement is based on the region’s needs as well as Fellows’ growth areas and matching them with host DOOs to best support their development. Professional Development All Fellows will attend a series of professional development workshops throughout the Fellowship. The subject matter of these workshops is grounded in the leadership competencies that DOOs are evaluated and developed on. Experiential Learning Feedback and coaching, especially when individualized, are critical tools that will support the Fellow’s growth as a leader. Fellows will engage in experiential learning activities, and receive feedback targeted at their individualized areas of growth. Experiential learning activities include: submission of weekly deliverables; on-site coaching with real-time feedback; and practice clinics where fellows will engage in case studies, role plays, and problem solving exercises. Practical Application Fellows are placed at an existing Uncommon school and serve as full-time members of the school's operations team. They engage in operations work at their host school, tackle school or regional-based operations projects, and conduct observations and analysis of operational systems. Fellows are responsible for completing a variety of pre-determined deliverables that expose them to all of the key components of DOO work. Practical application includes an Immersion in which the Fellow acts as DOO in place of their host DOO for 4-6 weeks. During this time, their host DOO is offsite and the Fellow is acting DOO and co-leads the school alongside the Principal. Reflective Discourse The Fellowship will create space at in-person sessions for reflective discourse, so that Fellows can learn from their own experiences and those of others in the cohort. Fellows will also be supported in developing a reflective practice, where they will codify their learning through written reflections and create plans to make their growth and development actionable.
