Job Description Title: Director of Sales & Education, Fur Professionals Reports To: Vice President, Marketing Location: New York City (Hybrid) FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt Who We Are: At Fur, we celebrate comfort, confidence, and care for every body. Who You Are: A licensed esthetician turned business leader who’s as comfortable leading trainings as you are working in CRM tools (such as Hubspot), owning conversion rates, and optimizing the Pros sales funnel for revenue growth. You bring a deep understanding of the professional beauty channel—how to motivate and educate estheticians, while converting engagement and loyalty program members into active, loyal customers. You’re equal parts educator, relationship builder, and operator—able to connect authentically with Pros while being accountable for strategy, KPs, and sales performance behind the scenes. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll lead Fur Professionals’ education, sales activation, and VIP relationship strategy — partnering closely with the Director of Growth and Director of Retail to translate engagement and education into measurable results. You’ll represent Fur across webinars, social media and in-person events, ensuring every Pro feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow with the brand. What You’ll Do: • Own VIP and top-account relationships — nurture and grow our highest-value Pros through direct outreach, personalized support, and surprise-and-delight moments that deepen loyalty and satisfaction., • Lead education strategy and execution — design and deliver a full curriculum for Fur Professionals, including virtual trainings, social education, protocols, and in-person workshops., • Act as the face of Fur Professionals — appear in social content, host webinars, and represent the brand at trade shows and events, bringing credibility, warmth, and expertise to every touchpoint., • Be the voice of the Pro internally — advocate for our estheticians across teams, ensuring their feedback, needs, and business realities are represented in product, marketing, and operational decisions., • Drive sales activation — increase order frequency, reactivation, and system-wide product adoption through education, proactive outreach, and relationship-driven selling., • Source and close new high-value accounts — work closely with our Director of Retail Accounts to identify warm leads, inbound opportunities, and strategic partnerships that expand Fur’s Pro footprint., • Partner with Growth and Retention —, • Use HubSpot daily to log activity, manage accounts, and monitor Pro performance., • Collaborate on lifecycle campaigns, reactivation workflows, and segmented outreach., • Share field insights and qualitative trends that inform CRM and marketing strategy., • Lead Pro events and programming —, • Host recurring digital trainings and masterclasses., • Manage Fur’s presence at 4–6 trade shows annually and support Ulta FLC as needed., • Partner with Marketing on the annual Fur Professionals Summit and quarterly Pro Sales Days., • Report and communicate trends — provide monthly updates on VIP engagement, education performance, and on-the-ground learnings to inform cross-functional planning., • 5+ years combined experience as an esthetician and in sales, ideally within beauty or wellness, • Licensed esthetician credibility paired with hands-on operator skill: you can lead product trainings, then log, track, and advance opportunities in HubSpot the same day., • Deep understanding of the professional beauty channel: what drives adoption, retention, reorder behavior, and long-term Pro loyalty., • A relationship-first sales approach: able to grow VIP and top accounts through trust, consistency, and high-touch support., • Strong education leadership: build a clear curriculum, deliver engaging trainings, and turn education into measurable results., • Confident “face of the brand” energy: comfortable on camera, hosting webinars, and representing Fur at events with warmth and authority., • KPI-minded and system-driven: tracks performance, logs activity, segments outreach, and improves workflows to scale what works., • Proven ability to drive activation: increases order frequency, reactivation, and product adoption through education + proactive outreach., • Event and community builder: creates programming that makes Pros feel seen, supported, and excited to grow with Fur., • High ownership and cross-functional mindset: aligns education, sales, and retention goals while keeping execution tight., • A “surprise-and-delight” mentality: adds thoughtful touches that deepen loyalty and differentiate the Fur Pro experience., • Hands-on HubSpot expertise beyond logging—segmentation, workflows, sequences, reporting dashboards, and lifecycle automation., • Active esthetician license, • Generous Time Off: Unlimited PTO, Summer Fridays, and 12 paid holidays., • Flexibility: Hybrid work environment in NYC., • Paid Parental Leave: Up to 4 months fully paid., • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA options, commuter benefits, Employee Assistance Program, Commuter Benefits, and access to Spring Health., • Retirement: 401(k) with company match after six months.
