We seek DSPs who are empathetic, patient, and skilled in providing personalized care to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities for Direct Support Professional (DSP): • Client Care: Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of clients., • Daily Support: Assist clients with grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding., • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed and document accurately per OPWDD guidelines., • Behavioral Support: Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors and foster positive outcomes., • Team Collaboration: Work with therapists, clinicians, and case managers to develop and implement care plans., • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in OPWDD settings., • Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation., • Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening., • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • AMAP (Approved Medication Administration Personnel), • SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention), • CPR or BLS (Basic Life Support), • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent GED or Transcript, • Licensing: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation, • Competitive hourly wage, • Flexible scheduling, • 401(k), • Dental Insurance, • Employee discount, • Flexible schedule, • Health insurance, • Life insurance, • Paid orientation, • Paid training, • Referral program Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: • 8-hour shift, • Day shift, • Evening shift, • Holidays, • Monday to Friday, • Morning shift, • Night shift, • Overnight shift, • Overtime, • Rotating weekends, • Weekends as needed Apply Now!
