Job DescriptionCustomer Support SpecialistHealthcare Training & Simulation | Wappingers Falls, NY | Ongoing Contract TEKsystems is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our client's team on-site in Wappingers Falls, NY. Our client is a leader in healthcare training and simulation — their products help hospitals, emergency responders, and educators practice lifesaving skills before they ever face a real emergency. CPR, trauma response, maternal and newborn safety — their simulators make that training possible. Your job is to make sure the people who depend on those tools get exactly what they need, when they need it. If you're someone who takes pride in delivering a great customer experience and stays organized under pressure, this role is worth a serious look. The Schedule • First 90 days (training): 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday, • After training: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday–Friday, • 35 hours per week — no nights, no weekendsWhat You'll Be Doing, • Handling customer inquiries via phone and email — you're the voice of the organization to the people who rely on these products, • Creating accurate customer quotes efficiently and professionally, • Processing order entry and ensuring every order is accurate before it goes out, • Running quarterly consumption reports on key product lines, • Partnering with internal teams to resolve customer issues and keep things moving, • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in internal systems, • Supporting process improvements and administrative tasks as neededWhat We're Looking For, • 1+ year of customer service, customer support, or order administration experience — where you got it doesn't matter, as long as you're good at it, • A genuine desire to help people and deliver a great experience every time, • Strong attention to detail — accuracy matters in this role, • Comfortable working with reports, data, and basic Excel, • Clear, professional communication skills — written and verbal, • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working on-site Monday–FridayNice to Have, • Experience with order entry, quoting, or CRM systemsWhy This Role, • Ongoing contract with strong potential for extension and conversion to permanent, • Consistent schedule — no nights, no weekends, • Work for a mission-driven organization where what you do actually matters, • Professional, stable office environment in Wappingers Falls This is a Contract position based out of Wappingers Falls, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
