This role acts as a technical leader in the field, supports large-scale commercial projects, and mentors less experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities • Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, VAV systems, heat pumps, VRF/VRV systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, and ventilation systems., • Lead advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and major component replacements., • Perform commercial system installations, start-ups, commissioning, and retrofits according to manufacturer specifications and project requirements., • Conduct detailed preventive maintenance and provide recommendations for system improvements, energy efficiency, and lifecycle upgrades., • Ensure all work adheres to company standards, project specifications, OSHA safety regulations, and local building codes., • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and on-the-job training to junior and mid-level technicians., • Work closely with dispatch, project managers, and estimators to support scheduling, work planning, and customer communication., • Build strong client relationships and communicate findings, options, and recommendations clearly and professionally., • Complete accurate documentation of service reports, time entries, parts usage, and job progress., • Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in safe operating condition. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. Job Description Triad Service Center is seeking a qualified Field Technician for service and repair of light industrial equipment in the Elizabeth, NJ area. Equipment that is commonly worked on are floor scrubbers, sweepers, handicapped carts, checkout lanes, paint shakers and other commercial customer equipment found in large retail / industrial locations. Technicians will also install, and service grease containment units used in conjunction with deep fryers. Job Description Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician (MAVT)/ Motor Assistance Vehicle Operator (MAVO) SUMMARY: The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is responsible for all aspects of patients’ care within the scope of certification. Essential Job Functions The Motor Assistance Vehicle Technician/Operator (MAVT/MAVO) is an integral part of the Virgo transportation team. In this position the MAVT/MAVO transports ambulatory patients to and from residences and or skilled nursing facilities to medical treatments and or appointments, and then return them. Some of the patients are able to ambulate to our vehicles while other must be moved in their wheelchairs, or are able to move on their electric scooters. No person is to ride the lift while standing, or on the electric scooter. The patients are placed in a wheelchair to go up on the lift, and they are moved inside and secured to the vehicle either on the bench seat or in the wheelchair. Should there be an aide or family member accompanying the patient, they must be secured in the vehicle as well. The MAVT/MAVO must check to see if any belongings or paperwork must accompany the patient for the transport, and then ensure that it gets dropped off with the patient. For each trip the appropriate documentation must be filled out, and where required, obtain the necessary signatures from the patient and /or facility. In the event monies are to be collected at time of service, a receipt is to be filled out and a copy given to the patient, or the person accompanying the patient. The MAVT/MAVO must be capable of good oral communications as for every leg of the trip dispatch must be communicated with, as to alert them to the status of the transport. In addition should any incident occur dispatch must be notified in a timely manner. The vehicle being used for any particular shift must be checked both prior and post usage for mechanical operations, fluids, and general cleanliness. WHAT YOU'LL DO* • Be the first warm welcome and a steady support, triaging incoming patients and helping guide them toward care, • Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics, from bloodwork and imaging to catheter placement and oxygen support, • Work alongside our credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinarians to set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation cases, • Set up and manage IV fluids, blood transfusions, and medication administration, • Assist during every moment of care: outpatient or inpatient, exam room to treatment area, • Join patient rounds and stay close to the clinical picture to ensure continuity of care, • Learn how to perform CPR and become a RECOVER Certified Rescuer (training provided!) This employee will use ophthalmic techniques to perform preliminary work-up of patients in a clinic setting, scribe for Physicians and may also directly assist Physician(s) with examinations and treatment of patients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone), • Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave, • Anticipate Physician needs to facilitate the flow of the clinic, • Practice urgency at all times with patient's time, as well as the Doctor's time and schedule, • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including HIPAA, • Verify patient's information by interviewing patient, • Record patient's medical history and current medications and confirm purpose of visit, • Record all data in the patient's Electronic Medical Record (EMR), • Check condition of patient's eyes by observing pupils, muscles, visual acuity and extraocular movements, • Required skills include: dilation, refraction, pressures, and performing a variety of diagnostic tests including visual fields, OCT, GDX, IOL master, auto refractor and topography, • Demonstrates working knowledge of eye anatomy, diseases, symptoms and ocular medications, • Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the Physician, • Demonstrates basic understanding of examination and procedure codes (ICD-9 codes) when inputting into the EMR system, • Ensure that accurate procedure coding/charges for all procedures/drugs for all patients and correct diagnosis codes are used, • Prepare patients for treatments and minor procedures; measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and respiration rate) as required, • Open and close exam rooms as needed, • Keep examination, treatment, laser and any other assigned rooms cleaned and stocked with supplies, and keep drug count up to date, • General office duties and cleaning to be assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONS • Desire to gain industry knowledge and training, • Demonstrates initiative in accomplishing practice goals, • Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change, • Consistently creates a positive work environment by being team-oriented and patient-focused, • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times, • Commitment to work over 40 hours to meet the needs of the business, • Ability to work weekends when applicable, • Reliable transportation that would allow employee to go to multiple work locations with minimal notice EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, • One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, • Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS • Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification is preferred, but not required, • Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC) certification is preferred, but not required, • Phlebotomy license is preferred, but not required SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY • Requires proficient keyboarding skills, use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and image management system, • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, • Computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new applications PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions.
