We are seeking a Radiation Oncology Physician Assistant for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity starts on Jan 2, 2026, with orientation followed by clinical work beginning Jan 5, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, in an ambulatory hemophilia setting. Job Details • Location: New York, • Start Date: Jan 2, 2026, • LOA: 20 days, • Provider Type Needed: Radiation Oncology Physician Assistant, • Assess, diagnose, monitor, and manage care for patients with all types of cancer, including benign and malignant tumors and diseases, under the supervision of a physician, • Promote health and protection from disease within the scope of practice, • Perform arterial puncture and blood gas sampling, • Provide debridement and general care for superficial wounds and minor superficial surgical procedures, • Implement therapeutic interventions for specific conditions as appropriate, • Insert and remove non-weighted nasogastric or oro-gastric tubes, • Order and interpret diagnostic testing and therapeutic modalities, including laboratory tests, medications, hemodynamic monitoring, treatments, IV fluids and electrolytes, EMG, electrocardiogram, radiologic examinations (arthrogram, ultrasound, CT, MRI, bone scan studies), • Perform incision and drainage of superficial abscesses, • Perform urinary bladder catheterization, including Robinson, coudé, and Foley, • Perform venous punctures for blood sampling, cultures, and IV catheterization, • Complete death certificate protocols, • Remove arterial catheters, central venous catheters, and chest tubes, • New York PA license required, • Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) required, • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certifications required, • Strong compensation, • Travel-related expenses covered, • A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided #LI-SC1
