Gynecology Physician Opportunity Near LONG ISLAND CITY, NY The Ideal Candidate: • Clinical Experience: Gynecology clinical experience in an outpatient setting., • Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of gynecological conditions and improve patient outcomes., • Competency: Demonstrate competency in diagnosis and treatment to assure high standards of patient care and safety are maintained., • Patient-Centered Approach: Exhibit a patient-centered approach, fostering a positive patient experience., • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills., • Comprehensive Patient Evaluation:, • Collect and record patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results. Maintain complete and accurate medical records., • Review patients history and perform a physical examination., • Evaluate, diagnose and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for the most common diseases of the female anatomy, taking into account the patients psychosocial and physical needs., • Gynecological Treatment:, • Recommend suitable management for the patient, including but not limited to preventive health recommendations and habits., • Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans., • Perform in-office surgical procedures as needed to preserve the patients health: Procedures may include but are not limited to cervical, endometrial, vaginal, vulvar, colposcopy, IUD placement, LEEP, and hysteroscopy., • Effective Communication:, • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care., • Degree: MD/DO or foreign equivalent., • Residency: Completion of postgraduate medical training from an accredited OB/GYN residency program., • Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gynecology., • Experience: Open to both experienced and newly trained providers., • License: Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license., • Registration: Must possess active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration., • Enrollment: Must possess active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or be eligible to enroll., • Certification: BLS or ACLS certification required., • Communication Skills: Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written., • Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM, • Thursday: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, • Competitive Base Salary., • Sign-on Bonus., • Malpractice Insurance., • Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement., • Medical/Dental/Vision Health Insurance., • Retirement Plan.
